    Just like every time the Giants come to town, every sports writer in America has to talk about Favre "taking a dive" for Michael Strahan so he could get the sack record. Ugh... Let it go, already!

    Yeah, it looked a little funky initially to me as well, but then I saw that Bubba Franks missed a block and Favre rolled right into him. Like Brett said, it could have been someone else. He could have lined up on the other side. I did just fall down, but it was to protect the ball and the lead. I didn't want to throw a pick.

    Regardless, it's over. I wish people would stop talking about it. (Then again, if that's what I want, then why am I bringing it up?) [​IMG]

    I still say they should both be banned from HOF for the stunt, it was too obvious and they are both very bad people to ruin the integrity of the sport

    banned? no way.... i believe pete rose shouldnt be banned either.

    but one little stunt compared to his greatness shouldnt mean he needs to be banned

    I believe it was intentional, but people make mistakes. Besides, this was well-intended. BF1, you can't hate Favre for it and not hate Ditka for giving the ball to the Fridge instead of Payton in the Jan 86 SB lol!!

    Talk about injustice!!!!

    I think scoring a TD in the super bowl is a privelage, not something you are entitled to, beside payton is the greatest either way. Ditka never even thought about it,if payton can forgive him, i can. What farve an stahan did was premiditate to get him the sack. Strahan only pressure him enough on the plays he needs to get the sacks and in return farve does not get hit hard by strahan, GB got the win it needed and Strahan got the sack he needed. Seems like cheating to me, throw them out of football.
