Infante's page 2. Im glad our bright posters decided to make this thread actually worth the chat. Newble isn't a great subject. But their is some opionions out there. You should know by know that our members aren't stupid enought to post "HE SUCKS AND TRADE HIS GARBAGE ASS." If that was to happen, it wouldn't be long before someone steps in and let him know.

I see alot of good points on here that have actually been very insightful for me too see other fans opinions. I in no way wanted to make this sound like a "He sucks, Let's trade him.* If it did seem so, I am sorry.

He just gets eaten alive on the picks on the perimeter, If they would ever, ever go the other way on him, you would see what I am saying. But since they don't, you won't see what I am saying. I have to agree somewhat with the "Newble has a lot of trouble against picks" argument. He was covering Rip Hamilton almost the entire night when he went off for 40+ and it was mostly due to him not being able to recover in time off picks and screens.

While Amherst, may not have fully explained himself in why he wanted an Ira Newble thread, your justification for locking it originally was also lacking. This post here in response to me however would have done a better job. Even maybe try something a little more nice, like hey Amherst I'm sure your intentions are good, but I find the matter in which you have based your subject on a bit lacking. If you could please try to edit that to make it get down to what your really trying to say, making it a better thread for all to add opinions to. I do apologize for my ?jabs? but they are only in response to all of the hooks. Could it hurt to be a little more liberal and compassionate?
I see where both sides are coming from, but most people take jabs at Ira in every thread they can, and to defend redscoon, nothing has been said in this thread that has not been said anywhere else. To defend the people thatw ant this thread, well, I don't mind having this thread open, long as it is not to bash the guy. There is a reason why this guy has started in as many games as he has over the last 2 years.
Every team needs that tough nosed defender playing his role. Detroit had it with Michael Curry, San Antonio with Bruce Bowen. I just wish Newble could shoot the ball more like Bowen, rather than the brick like Curry. This team is becoming successful with Ira in the lineup, so if it aint broke........
