<div class="quote_poster">Quoting CBBI:</div><div class="quote_post">It was a battle, but it was a win. I bet any of you this team 2 months ago probably would not have won this ballgame.</div> 2 months ago and 2 days ago, they didn't Christmas Day.
I think games like these show how much of a difference an experenced PG can make. McInnis has outstanding at keeping things under control and not making careless mistakes. He isn't Dre Miller.... but I'm very happy with our PG.
Another disappointment for the Magic. T-Mac needs some help, it cant just be him by himself. I can only imagine how hard it is for him. Every shot T-Mac is taking is a forced shot and extremely difficult cause he is the only person defenses are focusing on, and they dont have a starting PG to get Tracy open shots . You would like Tracy not to force so many shots but he has no other option, any time he passes it down low his big men (if you want to call them that) cant finish. Thats why Tracy is shooting 43 percent this year. I really feel bad for T-Mac, please trade him to a good team. As for the Cavs, all i have to say is ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. I knew this guy was talented but not this good. he is the 2nd best center in the league, yes better than Yao Ming. He has unbelievable skills for a 7'3 guy, if he hadnt had those foot problems he could have been a great great player. Carlos and LeBron continue to be the dynamic duo. Watch out for the Cavs fellas , they will make the playoffs and could pull an upset. Next year if they have a good off season they could be the 2nd best team in the East after the Pacers.
Another dissapointment post for Ming. Just a question , you watched the game? didn't think so. lol I'm not even going to discuss. EDIT: I was refering to YaoMing03-04. Ming keep up the good work.
I did watch the game buddy so you need to be quiet. I have seen half of the Cavs games this season on league pass
The Lebron/Mcgrady match-up didn't dissapoint I see. Still amazing what this kid is putting up at the age of 19, Boozer continues to be a beast on the boards You guys are closing in on that playoff spot
James, Boozer notch double doubles <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">LeBron James shook off an offensive foul late in regulation and took over in overtime. The 19-year-old rookie scored six of his 30 points and had a pivotal rebound in overtime, played with the poise of a veteran in leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 112-107 victory Friday night over the Orlando Magic. The standout performance came after Cleveland blew an 18-point fourth-quarter lead and James committed an offensive foul while trying to take the ball to the basket on the Cavaliers' final possession of regulation. "This guy is no young rookie, he's already a legitimate star in this league," said Magic forward Keith Bogans, who had the defensive assignment on James for much of the fourth quarter and overtime. "We take a charge on him at the end of regulation and there isn't the first sign of him being timid when overtime starts. He comes right back out and starts dominating again," Bogans said.</div> Full Story

Once there, LeBron James took over. James scored six straight points in the extra session as the Cleveland Cavaliers recovered from squandering a big lead to post a 112-107 victory over the Orlando Magic. McGrady, the NBA's leading scorer, netted 15 of his 35 points in the fourth quarter as the Magic rallied from an 18-point deficit. He sank three free throws with 9.3 seconds left in regulation, sending the game to overtime. McGrady's only points of overtime were a 3-pointer that gave the Magic a 105-103 lead with 2:22 left. But James, the rookie sensation, scored in the lane 18 seconds later, then hit two free throws and a layup to give Cleveland a 109-105 lead with 61 seconds remaining. Cavs make magic in OT <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">James scores six of his 30 during extra period His wine-colored jersey soaked nearly black with sweat, the fatigue hung on Eric Williams' face. It was all he could do to remain standing, slumped over and tugging his shorts some 80 feet from the rest of his teammates. LeBron James spied him and, game in hand, walked the length of the floor and planted a firm slap on his backside for a job well done. Such demeanor saturated the Cavaliers on Friday, when what looked like a cakewalk turned into an energy-zapping dogfight. But it was a fight they would win.</div> Full Story
Cavs lose big lead, win big game in OT <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Cavaliers were minutes away from blowing out the Orlando Magic and continuing their quest to make the playoffs. But the Cavs went into cruise control. It almost cost them. The Cavs allowed the Magic to rally from an 18-point fourth-quarter deficit to send the game into over time, but it wasn't enough as the Cavs held on and escaped with a 112-107 victory Friday night at the TD Waterhouse Centre. LeBron James led the Cavs with 30 points and 11 rebounds. Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 28 points. Carlos Boozer scored 17 and grabbed 16 rebounds. Jeff McInnis scored 16 points and had 10 assists. Orlando's Tracy McGrady, who had a slow start, caught fire and finished with 35 points. The Magic's comeback pumped life into what appeared as a dead issue. The Cavs were blowing the Magic away. It appeared as only a matter of time before the Cavs (24-35) would earn only their eighth road victory. But things changed.</div> Full story

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting tankster:</div><div class="quote_post">Howard has also killed the Cavs and has torched Boozer each outing That line is from Rescoon's take in the Game Preview!! I don't see it that way!!........I've used this before, and it seems appropriate here. "The ball knows and the numbers don't lie." See the numbers for the three games below!! Boozer............58pts.....23-38=61%......51 rbds Howard...........54pts.....19-45=42%......22 rbds Looks like our boy Carlos gets the nod to me!! Just how I see it..................Tank Boozer...</div> Where did I say that Howard outplayed Boozer? Because that appears to be what you arguing, which would be a good idea if thats what I said. However, I didn't say that. I said he's "torched" Boozer. Referring to him offensively being a thorn in the Cavs side. In the first game Howard had 19. In the OT session he scored the first 8 points for the Magic and buried the Cavs. In the 2nd meeting of the year he scored 21. He didn't have that good of a game last night, but I posted before the game took place. So with a 21 point game (he averages 15.8) and another game in which he carried the Magic in OT to a victory, I think its safe to say that he torched (an offensive related term) Boozer and killed the Cavs. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">owned</div> Unnecessary and incorrect.
Let me actually stick up for my boy redscoon, I almost can't believe I just said that. Yes, boozer outplayed howard... however, he's still the number two guy you have to stop. He killed us in that game on christmas.
