<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Warriors center Erick Dampier once again maintained that he has not decided whether or not he will opt out of his contract at the end of the season. A story in Wednesday's Indianapolis Star strongly suggested that Dampier already had made up his mind -- and that he would exercise the opt-out.

The story went on to say that Dampier had hired Dan Fegan as his new agent.

"That's a decision I have to make sometime this summer," Dampier said before Wednesday's Warriors-Memphis game. "As of now, I haven't."</div>

Do you guys really believe that his mind is not made up yet? I have a hard time believing that.

I don't know about you guys but this whole T.O. thing is definitely funny. I think Damp's in a similar situation. Do you think the W's can do a sign a trade, but then again, why wouldn't he just opt to get the cash money if he wanted to leave the W's. I don't know, but Damp seems like a pretty straight up dude, I think he'll just call it like he sees it at the end of the year. As fans, the most we can do is shout out some love to him and make him feel wanted.

I laughed at the TO situation, he deserves it.

I think the only reason Damp hasn't said that he is leaving for sure is that he doesn't want to get all the crap from the fans until the season is over with, which I don't blame him for.

The Warriors can give Damp more money than any other team. I have to believe that if all Damp is after is more money, then he'd stay here. There isn't any team that has cap space that he'd want to play for.

I think it would have to be a real sweetheart of a deal for the Warriors to do a sign and trade. They'd definately need to get a very good big man in return for him and there just aren't many out there.

With the way Damp is playing, I'd go as high at 9-10 mil a year to begin with, but it should be lower than that considering Brad Miller only got 7 mil to start.

I'm going to shoot myself if he goes to the Knicks.

I am afraid to sign him to another deal. If he signs on for another deal, there should be a clause in his contract that if he does not play how he is playing now she should be let loose in the middle of a stadium full of angry Warriors fans. And yes, the TO thing was hilarious. He got what he deserves. Now I just hope we can get something out of him.

Right on the money. I love Damp but this thing could turn into an ugly contract year thing where a guy comes out of his shell to play like an all-star then slumps when he signs the big deal *COUGHARENAS* (but hey Wash paid that money, I'm not bitter...didn't he guarantee them the playoffs this year or something?).

I'm starting to wish we could have gotten Stepania for him at least and gotten Sheed. But I don't that was the trade or else it would have happened by now.

He has said numerous times that he has never been with a "winner" and he is not getting any younger. He knows he can be a dominant center in the east and be an all-star. I don't really blame the guy. I do blame him for not earning his contract here in GS.
