New York Knicks: 41-14 Quick fact: Knicks have dropped their last 4 games, and are only 4-6 in their last 10. 3 out of the 4 teams they dropped losses too lately, are non-playoff teams. Probable Starters Frontcourt Nazr Mohammed/Chris Kaman Kurt Thomas/Elton Brand Tim Thomas/Corey Maggette Backcourt Shandon Anderson/Quentin Richardson Stephon Marbury/Marko Jaric Key Players Elton Brand - Stephon Marbury The 'X' factor Do the Knicks have enough toughess inside to stop Elton Brand? My predictions Clippers will take this one, I'm confident in that especially since their at home. Knicks have struggled lately, mainly to the absence of Houston. They have dropped 4 straight, and I don't believe they'll break their streak tonight. They lack inside toughess, Brand will have a field day inside. Marbury can't do everything, and I believe they'll drop a frustrating loss tonight to extend their streak to 5 losses. LA by 13. BTW, sort of rushed this preview because I didn't realize the game was about to start. So don't drop by your predictions because the game is about to start right now, just made the topic to stir up a nice Clipper discussion about the game.
Another exciting finish in Clipperland tonight. With Bobby Simmons hitting the clutch jumper to put them up one with just seconds remaining. However, down the stretch of the game, Q Rich was the man tonight as he netted 23, to go along with 7 points. Maggette and Brand struggled early, but picked up their play a little bit as the game moved on. Clips were able to jump out to a decent lead in the 1st, but after that it was just a barn burner till the end. Once again Knicks continue to struggle, Marbury was able to put up a solid game, and other then Tim Thomas New York didn't get much production out of others. It's sad to see Isiah make these moves, and see the Knicks succeed. Then watch it all fall apart, I hope they pick up their play. Box Score
Good game, the Clips really got me worried when they couldn't hit a bucket for over 4 minutes, but good thing the Knicks were on a 6minute drout at the same time. Really exciting first half, second half was kind of slow but it was an overall good game. Notice this Clipper forum is dead again? lol
