Like I have said all along K-mart getting a deal is 1st. But after that we might need to start thinking about adding on some new parts to our team to add depth. Right now we have oe of the least productive benches in the league. So I think during the off season Rob Thorn needs to look at all options as far as trades & possible free agent additions. And Dyess can possible be a addition that will fit in very nicely. When healthy Dyess ccould bring in frontline points & rebounding off the bench 2 thing the Nets lack. And dont think we should just throw a contract at Dyess, But we should take at least a look. We would have to take Dyess' past history of ankle problems into account. And way our other options out there that can possibly fill our need for bench depth. As long as Rodney Rodgers is not back as the Nets main frontline option for points off the bench I willl be happy.
If they sign McDyess they shouldn't give him any more than a 1-year deal (they gave Mourning like 4 years), and extend it partway through the season if they see strong physical stability in him.
