    Alvin To Undergo Surgery !

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">(Feb. 25, 2004) -- The Toronto Raptors announced Thursday that guard Alvin Williams will have arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Friday in Toronto. The procedure will be performed by Dr. Paul Marks.

The surgery will relieve inflammation from the knee. Williams is expected to be sidelined for an indefinite period of time.

Williams has missed the past two games with a sore right knee. He has averaged 8.9 points, 4.1 assists and 31.1 minutes in 54 games this season. </div>

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Whatever evil force is casting a spell over the Raptors is at it again; Alvin Williams will have surgery today.

Already reeling because of the absence of Vince Carter and Jalen Rose, the Raptors face at least the next four to six weeks without their toughest competitor and starting shooting guard, who will have arthroscopic surgery on his right knee today.

The team announced Williams would be out "indefinitely" but a routine scope usually means four to six weeks of inactivity.

"That hurts us big time," Raptor coach Kevin O'Neill said last night. "It just never ends, does it?"</div>

Looks like we really need Glover to step it up
