New York Knicks are 6th seed now. They are on a 5 or 6 game losing streak now, but I don't think they will get knocked out of the playoffs.
^ There still that high, got look the nba site. Anyways, I'm like Detroit, even though they're still not doing all the great with Sheed so far. But I think there going to the finals. Better check if there's another thread like this as well.

just to let you guys know, indiana and detroit can't be 1-2, because they're in the same division. The top seeds in each division are 1-2. That means detroit or indiana is going to be either 1 or 3 or lower but they can't be 1-2.
Indiana New Jersey Detroit New Orleans Milwaukee New York Miami Toronto Boston is on a down slide (just beating Toronto b/c of their situation) Philly has no Iverson, not too much of a chance for them to do anything. CLeveland is the real scare here, they could get thinck in the race with Toronto and Miami. Round 1 Indiana vs Toronto (4-1) Indiana New Jersey vs Miami (4-3) New Jersey Detroit vs New York (4-2) Detroit New Orleans vs Milwaukee (4-3) New Orleans Round 2 Indiana vs New Orleans (4-3) New Orleans (if Artest doesn't return) with Artest (4-3) Indiana New Jersey vs Detroit (4-2) Detroit EAST Finals New Olreans/Indiana vs Detroit (4-3) Indiana/New Orleans

Too many people underestimating the Bucks. I personally think the Bucks can beat the Hornets in a 6 or 7 game series.
1.Jersey 2.Pacers 3.Detroit 4.NO hornets 5.Bucks 6.Knicks 7.Toronto 8.Miami Jersey beats Miami in 5. Toronto beats Pacers in 7 (after the all-star game...vince carter will show rick carilse why he should have not been on the bench) if artest is healthy...toronto will lose. Detroit sweeps knicks Hornets will win in 7 or 6.

Quoting HardCore_BOozer:

8. Toronto......with Philly in mind (hard to count out Iverson)
If Iverson stays out, the Sixers have a good chance of making a run . Here are my predictions... 1. Indiana 2. New Jersey 3. Detroit 4. Milwaukee 5. New Orleans 6. Miami 7. Cleveland 8. Philly Raptors have lost 9 straight, Knicks have lost 6 straight, Celtics have won 2 in a row but they have a very tough schedule coming up, I think Philly will be able to make a run and claim the 8th and final spot. My predictions for the playoffs: Indiana over Philly New Jersey over Cleveland Detroit over Miami Milwaukee over New Orleans Indiana over Detroit New Jersey over New Orleans Indiana over New Jersey Indiana loses in the finals and the West takes home another championship
1. Indiana 2. New Jersey 3. Detroit 4. Milwaukee 5. New Orleans 6. New York 7. Cleveland 8. Philly Philly over Indy NJ over Cleveland Detroit over NY MIL over NO Philly over Detroit NJ over MIL Philly over NJ Sounds stupid. But I think these is just going to be one of those shocking/surprising NBA stories, that everyone will never forget about that 8th seed team, that barlely made the playoff's and went to the finals. Hey, its the NBA anything can happen. Just take last night game against MIN as an example. Yeah its only 1 season game, but they managed to get a win over the leading MVP canidate and quite possibly one of the Top 3 Best PG in the league right now. Plus it was done without their 2 top scorers. So that just tells you anything can happen.
If the Sixers get in the playoffs,I hope they eliminate Indy(to become second team to do it ) and then they will face NJ deeper in the playoffs,I have always wanted to see NJ-Philly showdown.
I don't get how some people are putting NY over Milwaukee. The Bucks are better, cleary. Van Horn seems to be playing quite well too..
Indiana New Jersey Detroit New Orleans ----- Milwaukee New York Cleveland 76ers The east is way too weak, it's hard to pick teams beyond the top 3 for a lock. Very sad. The Pacers have the best record in the east, so far they appear to be a lock for the top spot. Ron Artest's injury could be the only thing holding them back for the remainder of the season. Jersey has done it the past couple of years, it wouldn't be a shock to see them there again. Their coach has them rolling, they could go places come playoff time. Give or take a few for the last couple spots, anyone could really make it. Lebron could bring the Cavs to the playoffs, but Boston and Philly are contenders as well.
