The good - Al Harris has been a stud. All DB's will get burned but Al has been very consistent this year.

The bad - O-Line looked terrible yesterday. Give credit to the DL of the NYG. However, they should have been able to control the LOS better that what they did.
Darren Sharper - Yes he had an INT, but did you hear his number called after that? Neither did I.

The ugly - Defensive Line - Hunt is just fat, not even playing at a vet minimum salary level. Some will say he is playing out of position. They are right, that position is the NFL. He just stinks!
Charmin and the ability to make adjustments - They don't cross mid field in the first half. They have a TD drive to start the 2nd half but that was just a drive of Giant penalties and a lucky TD reception.
I was talking 5-3 going into the bye, it will be a gift if they go in at 4-4, probably 3-5. If it is the latter, 8-8 or 7-9 here we come.

That game suprised me completely. I knew the New York Fighting Giants would come to play, but c'mon! What is with Green Bay! It seems as if every other week they look like a decent team!

I am scared at the thought of having the Lions as the only real competition in the NFC North.[IMG]

Let's all shoot for 8-8 and see if the tiebreakers go down to which team sells the most concessions over the course of the year. [IMG]

Not looking forward to driving to Green Bay for the Monday Night Game if Favre isn't playing. That will be a long, long, long, looooong night. *sigh*

    Get well soon, Brett!

What's even worse is the losses at home.

I thought it was funny when the Bears beat them, but now it's just getting sad. Vikes have had their problems with the Giants too though...

What happened to the magic of the tundra?

Vikingfan: It will be a pretty boring playoff race when you have a three game lead over the Lions in the NFC North around mid December. The Bears/Giants game showed just how flawed this GB team is. They have to put up near flawless performances because they are not good enough to overcome penalties & turnovers.
Favre should be good to go on Monday night. Everyone can say this is a team determined by the sucess of Ahman Green, they couldn't be farther from the truth (unless you count his fumbles). This team lives and dies on the performance of #4. Green can put up 150+ yards a game (look at the two Philly games and others) but if Favre isn't completing better than 60-65% of his passes and getting them in the endzone this team is pedestrian at best.

I agree about Favre being more critical to the team than Green. When teams respect the pass, which they have to do when Favre plays...that's when the run works.

Case in point... Once Pederson went in on Sunday, the Packers couldn't run at all. They just stacked up the box and dared Pederson to win the game with his arm.
