I thought it was the freakish talent and maturity he possesses. Guess I was off the mark!

So did you guys put a petition in to draft LeBron, or did you chant his name outside his office until he gave in. Who was Pax going with??? Darko

to clear up any confusion i was only joking about the Shawn Kemp signing.. I also would like to pick up Baxter...

I'm not sure about Loren Woods contract situation but he has a lot of potential but just doesnt get the Playing Time..

Cavs should be interested in him.. You guys remember Loren dominating at Arizona??

you want Brevin Knight back? Havn't been a fan under his time in Cavs, but I don't think he's quite good now.

Did I ever say I would want Brevin? No I wouldn't want him, I would rather have Rod Strickland... who was also released.

Baxter is still the only guy who's been released that sounds good to me.

Linsey Hunter was waived by the Celts. He can hit the three ball.

Rod Strickland today = Kevin Ollie!!!

You actually think Rod is equal to Ollie?

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Mr_Infante:</div><div class="quote_post">You actually think Rod is equal to Ollie?</div>

    Roughly yeah!

Rod has awesome ball handling skills and can break down his defender still at this age! His shot is superior to Ollies.

However Ollie has the better control and defense!

But if you are talking who you want for the next 5 years I begrudgedly say Ollie. 1 year I may tke Stick!

Also it looks as if Baxtor is heading to Washington!

"The Washington Wizards could be on the verge of signing former Maryland forward Lonny Baxter, who, if signed, would join former Terrapins teammates Juan Dixon and Steve Blake, according to a team source. Baxter was waived by the Toronto Raptors on Sunday and sat courtside at last night's Wizards game against the New Orleans Hornets. Once he clears waivers, which could be as soon as today, Baxter will become a free agent. Washington vacated a second roster spot last night by buying out the contract of backup point guard Brevin Knight, who was in the final year of a $5 million deal." Washington Post

I will stop my sign Lonny campaign!

Does anyone know anything about Loren Woods?

I think he is a great talent, and never really gets the Playing Time..

He's on Miami right now and hardly gets some PT if he is a Free Agent I think we should look into him.. He can be very good..

Just look at when he was in Arizona... 7'1" can shoot real good.. just give him the time..

Baxter would have been a decent pickup but the Wizards claimed him on waivers today. I'd prefer just to get back to giving Diop some minutes behind Z and using Battie mainly behind Boozer. Silas and the Cavs can't abandon trying to develop their young players. This team is still a ways away from contending and still needs to have some long term thinking.
Sneaking into the playoffs this year in a very weak Eastern conference won't make me feel much better about this franchise's ability to build a perennial contender in the future.

Nice points Narl... but I believe Battie becomes largely ineffective at power forward. He seems more comfortable at center where his opposing player is slower. He seems to drift away from the boards at the 4 spot.

I dont think there will be too much more experimenting from Silas from here on out. Nailon has now shut more minutes out for Kapono! Jason will now play as Kerr did for San Antonio!
