Chucky is a good commentator and all, but don't you think he's a little TOO biased at times? He always complaining about how the raptors aren't getting any calls when a lot of the time the bad calls go both ways. He's been doing that a lot lately and it always ends up in him and Leo arguing. Don't get me wrong though, it's funny when they argue, but it starts to get a little uncomfortable after a while & I'd rather they just talk about the game instead.
i dont like chuck much. he is too biased ALL the time and he trys to explain stuff too much...plus, he repeats the same comment like 2 time a game, every game. and all those exxagerated phrases he makes such as "are u kidding me?" or "raptors win! raptors win! raptors win1" makes me feel like im a 2 year old watching basketball. chuck should be replaced with some1 better.

Yea its true he does over exaggerate things, but I like him, because he isn;t boring like those guys on Fox sportsnet, or the Sunshine guys for Miami and Orlando games. Leo says Carter should have gone at the defender and taken it strong to draw the foul. <u>Next Play</u> Carter drives and takes it up strong and gets a charge called on him, and Leo says like I'm saying he shouldn't go at the defender like that, thats when you gotta kick the ball out or pull up for the jumper. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?"</div> err...doug collins is often praised for the way he explains the game to people. chuck doesnt tell the viewers what a travel is, he explains detailed parts of the game to people that may not understand it. i also think its kinda cool that he sends out 1 (yea thats right, he only sends out ONE a game, wooooo big deal) 3 ball to a fan. why not? why does that bother you so much? and that game when leo called chuck out on the cut...leo was comparing the cut to a hockey cut...i thought that was completely retarded, a cut in hockey and a cut in bball is two VERY differnt things...hockey is a full contact sport, its two completely different things. chuck knows how to call the game...fair play if you dont like him, but the guy can call a game i totally agree that chuck is biased...but whats wrong with that? whats wrong with having a home team commentator? its not like the fans of the other teams listen to him...hes a home town/local station commentator...so personally i think its good that hes biased. i like the fact that the guy commentating is a raptor fan too...helps make the game more exciting.

Its very boring when you have unenthusiastic commentators that just say who scores not who made the nice pass to get that basket. He may over embellish sometimes but when your that much into the game nobody really notices. Props To Chuck. He cracks me up. AND BTW NORESPECT... QUIT USING MY AVATAR. Anyway, I remember watching sportscenter and they were showing a Raptors highlight where Carter made a shot...the announcer (I assume swirsky) saying "you might as well put him in the Hall of Fame now" or something to that effect...I was like wtf?? Even the sportscenter anchor said that was ridiculous... that's what stands out in my mind about the Raptors play-by-play...
ya know whats funny. after watching cavs games on the cleveland station, some lakers game on the lakers sports net feed, and nets games on the yes network...its safe to say that chuck isnt alone in the biased commentator department. EVERY home team network has biased commentators. so thats hardly something that makes him a bad commentator. they all do it. the lakers guys are the worst
yea thats true, I like when a team hits a big crunch time shot and Chuck goes NOOOOO!!!, thats the greatest.
yea "OOOH NOOOOOO...you gotta be kidding me!" lol, like when jwill hit the 3 ball to put us away on sunday. i was at the gym, on the treadmill and started laughing out loud haha
i'm not really a fan of Chuck, i wish he would just tone it down sometimes...i have to turn down the volume on the tv because he is so loud. Don't get me wrong, it's good to hear someone with such passion for basketball but he need to find a way to contol it a little better sometimes i miss the combination of John Saunders and Leo Rautins, those were the good 'ole days
