<div class="quote_poster">Quoting sactown_dyme:</div><div class="quote_post">And your problem is you like looking at history. What happens in the past stays in the past. You don't want to accept the fact that the Kings have grown as a team and are more than capable of beating your Lakers in the playoffs. But soon enough, you're gonna have to accept the fact.</div>

You can't be ignorant of history, either. The Lakers DO have a history of beating you guys and that isn't something you should be ignoring. Just because they have a little more experience doesn't mean they're ready to beat someone, and we're the more improved team since the last time we beat you guys in the playoffs. How is your team so much more experienced, anyway? No one really had anything to learn from, last year they did as much as we did in the playoffs, and that was almost nothing. If being experienced means so much, how does that make you guys the favorite? We have the most experience of all, and with a full lineup we're just as talented as anyone in the league also.

Umm... someone was making a statement about us losing to the Kings by 2 eventhough the Kings were missing a lot of players... When we lost to you guys AT ARCO, which is a very hard place to win in, we didn't have Shaq, Malone and Kobe... That's much more than you guys were missing on that 2 point loss..

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Laker_Fever_834:</div><div class="quote_post">Point is, the Kings are talkers and chokers. They always get the #1 seed in the playoffs, and then all of a sudden the chemistry goes away, and another long offseason for Sacramento. Now, if your team has "grown" like a team, and have really pulled together, why don't you make a statement and just march to the Finals? Because if you dont.. I and other Laker fans have the right to smack this team. Ok, how long are we going to accept the fact that the Kings will beat us in the playoffs? How long????

    LMAO!!!</div>

And you said I like to twist things. If I recall correctly, I said the Kings are more than capable of beating your Lakers in the playoffs. What you said is that the Kings will. But I ain't gonna trip over 'he said she said'. That should be kept in kindergarten playgrounds. You're acting like the only team to worry about in the playoffs is the Kings. Do I need to refresh your memory of the other Western Conference teams? We're talking the T'Wolves. Maybe they haven't gotten past the first round, but this team and season is a different scenario. We're talking the Mavericks. We're talking the Spurs. The team that beat your Lakers last year. Is your memory refreshed now?

If that's what your response is to the Lakers missing Shaq, Kobe, and Karl... How does it sound if you guys were missing Vlade, C-Webb and Peja at once? Doesn't sound too good, does it? It ain't no excuse saying the Lakers were missing those players, because that's more than half our starting lineup. Whining is what Vlade does after he plays against Shaq, not us saying we're missing those three.

But the game still went as a loss on the Lakers' record. There's a wins column and a loss column. Not a "doesn't count because Shaq, Kobe, and Malone were injured" column. That's the point I'm trying to get across.

lol, you don't think we know every loss counts? Ofcourse every loss counts, no matter who is missing... it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that. That wasn't the point you were trying to get across when you posted that, you just wanted to state the fact that you beat us by 20. We had already been saying that you guys beat us twice this season, we didn't need the score.

CWebb had a solid comeback and i think that he can keep this up if not get better. I think if he can keep this up he might be in for MVP even though he was injured and KG is playing just like him, these two guys are really similar ballers..... They make there presence known.

Why do you Kings fans keep saying "why do you bring up history". You act like were going back into Magic's days. This has only been the last few years counting out last year because they were both knocked out. Point is, Kings are playoff CHOKERS. Get it straight, they still canoot beat LA in a 7 game series. Just because you light it up in the regular season, doesn't mean you'll take it all. That almost means nothing. Yes the Kings are playing well and better than any Kings team we've seen in a while, but they still have to show me something in the playoffs. People are underrating the Lakers, were not a regular season team. We win games when it counts, which is simply the reason we bring championships to LA, which is also the reason Sac-Town can't get to the finals.

I mean, will this go on forever? What if we take ya'll out this year, then the Kings look like an even better team this time next year? Will you bring up the same excuse? It's getting old, you guys need to get over yourselves that the Lakers have taken the Kings out every time, and until Sac-Town can do so to LA, then their is no reason to be saying Kings will win it all.

I'm tellin you guys, Kings are the Eagles of football. Always making it to the conference final, but CHOKE.

If the Lakers are so much better than the Kings this year with their "hall of fame" lineup, then why did the Kings beat them WHILE the kings did not have brad miller, chris webber, or bobby jackson

I am just pointing out facts and am not trying to trashtalk with any of you Laker fans. You have your opinions and we got ours.

All we can look forward to is the next Kings vs. Lakers matchup when BOTH teams are healthy

And that win means......? We lost to the Hawks, big deal. Does that count us out of anything? Nope, because we know when to get serious and win the games that count the most.

I don't like that one much.. Every win counts, no matter who we play. It all does matter at the end of the season, it changes everything, and it does make a difference for the playoffs. One win could change us from being a 3rd seed to a 4th, so again every win counts. I also hate that "we win big games" thing, people for years have called it "turn on the switch," but that's all bullshit to me. Every team should be going out every night giving it all they got, trying to get a win. That's one thing that really frustrates me about the Lakers.

No, actually you can't even recall anything straightforward. When did I ever say the Kings are capable of beating my Lakers in the playoffs? Unless you're trying to make yourself look good, or you're just simply trying to put words into my mouth which I don't appreciate at all. Oh yeah, I agree...Kings trashtalking should be kept in the kindergarten playgrounds because you can't even come up with logical facts to why this Kings squad will beat the Lakers. Ok..please little sis refresh my memory. TWolves? Ok, the same team that hasn't gotten out of the first round in seven years and can somehow miraculously make it to the Finals? The Mavericks? The same team that finally ended the losing streak in Los Angeles? The same Mavericks team that doesn't know the meaning of defense? And they can beat the Lakers in a 7 game series? Oh, and the Spurs? Very different team from last year. You can even go to spurs.com and check out the remaining players from last year's team. Who should we fear other than Duncan on that team? Hedo Turkoglu? Give me a break. The Lakers easily can dethrone the Spurs. You've been pretty much smoked. So I don't think you can find a way to make a comeback on this one. Leave it alone, we'll see in the playoffs.

You people are funny. Now C Webb is back, and all of a sudden opponents should just get out of the way and allow the Kings to win the championship? Please tell that to our Lakers. The big and bad purple and gold bullies from Southern California. You don't feel the Lakers wanna make it a 4th time over the Kings?

Again, you look at regular season records like it's everything to you. How about this as your W-L record??

    Playoff "History" Kings/Lakers

    2000: Lakers over Kings (3-2)
    2001: Lakers over Kings (4-0)
    2002: Lakers over Kings (4-3)

And each of those three years, NBA CHAMPIONS!!

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Laker_Fever_834:</div><div class="quote_post">I have a lot of respect for the world champs, but they're clearly not the team from last year. And please don't make me write out all the players that left from that season? Who should the lakers fear besides Duncan? Hedo Turkeyglu? Give me a break. How am I shielding the fact that the Kings are supposedly better than the Lakers? History speaks for itself on the Kings in the playoffs, and once again....The Lakers OWN Sacramento in the playoffs. It's happened for the last 3 yrs these two teams met, and it will continue. All out confidence.</div>

Once again , like i said we aint talking about the past son! you can talk all you want and im not gonna make an excuse, just stop talking like you are the world champs, cause your not! Faker fans love to come on the Sac message board and talk smack. And you suckas know what? HAHA we're loving it. dont u faker fans get it? you guys are suppose to be the big bad lakers yet out of all the teams in the NBA, you have the kings on your mind? haha when i wake up i think about breakfast and work. When a faker fan wakes up he's thinking about the KINGs. The proof is in this kings forum. Im not on the laker board talking cause yal aint on my mind. I see the same 3,4 faker fan talking.. thats all it is TALK. hmmmm if an LA laker fan has the kings on their minds so much, i wonder what Laker players are thinking about?...... well cept kobe he just wants TANG. Peace
