<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">EAGLE, Colo. -- The woman who accused Kobe Bryant of rape will face detailed questions about her sex life when she testifies in a closed hearing in three weeks, a judge has ruled. State District Judge Terry Ruckriegle made his decision on Tuesday, hours after the woman's attorney denied a claim by Bryant's lawyers that his client had sex with someone else the morning after the alleged attack. The 19-year-old woman is scheduled to face her alleged attacker for the first time in court in the March 24-25 hearing. The Los Angeles Lakers star's attorneys subpoenaed her in hopes her testimony would convince the judge that her sexual conduct in the days surrounding her encounter with Bryant can be used against her at trial. Prosecutors had argued such questions were irrelevant and asked the judge to limit what Bryant's lawyers could ask. Under Colorado's rape-shield law, the sexual activity of an alleged victim is presumed to be irrelevant. Defense attorneys have to convince the judge otherwise in order to present details of other sexual activity to a jury. </div> LINK This is big for Kobe's defense team...This is one step closer to bypassing the Rape Shield Law....It will be interesting to see what comes out of all of this...
This is huge for the Defense team, THey can ask her as many questions as they want, they could possibly break her down at the stand if she cant take the questions, Kobe is one step closer to being cleared.
lakers lost but kobe wins! yup, this is big for kobe and his defense team. let's see if ms. faber can handle the questions. she postponed her appearance in court because she was making out with all the men in colorado(hehehe), joke?

I mean... he just got out of knee surgery, but who knows... I don't think he did. And i'm off topic. Huzzah for Kobe, one step closer to being cleared.
I'm just glad to hear such great news. Thank god that the judge sees that he isnt a rapist. Lets hope that with this news he even plays better than that he plays now. I thought that it wouldnt be possible but with Kobe you never know. He is a great player and now that this is lifted of his shoulders perhaps it will give him more joy to even play better.
It's about time we finally get some BIG news on the situation. I'm glad this is starting clear up a little bit more. Huge step for the defense. Then all these jokes by AllNet can stop.
