I know im really young to be asking this, but how do we get a sports scholarship to Cincinnati or Michigan?? Do we apply or do they send us offers to come according to our high school basketball history?? And are their tryouts in college or they chose from your history of basketball, and how good you are?

If you're good enough, you'll be noticed by the school's recruiting departments. They'll send scouts to see you play and will send you letters to invite you to attend and play for them.

Usually when you a standout high school star and you create buzz, different schools will check you out..and if they like what they see they put an offer on the table for a scholarship.

And yes you can tryout for teams,if they like what they see they offer you a position on the squad. Of course sometimes there isn't enough scholarships to go around so you become a 'walk-on' someone who is paying for school themselves..alot of times a scholarship will be offered to a walk-on when one is freed up.
