Good info Dre, I said as soon as Rod Strickland was released from the Magic, the Nets needed to pick him up. He is still a solid penetrator in the half-court which the Nets need. The Nets are extremely desperate for a backup point guard, J.Kidd is playing way to many minutes thats part of the reason why he got injured. Zoran Planinic cant hold the fort down while Kidd is on the bench. And Lucious cant really create for others, so when he comes in the game as the point guard the ball movement slows down. The Nets need a Floor general like Strickland for when Kidd goes to the bench.

Hopefully, Nenad Krstric is developing because JC isnt the center for the future of the Nets. JC doesnt give us any pressence on either end of the court. It feels like K-mart is battling down low all by himself sometimes. JC is meant to be a backup in the NBA.

They should sign Strickland. Our rookie can't run the show for the Nets.

Signed neither...I think Strickland could've helped, but it wasnt a big necessity...Kidd, Kittles and Harris is a good backcourt rotation...

In a way you are right, I think the Nets can win the east without a legit
backup point guard. But having a cat like Rod would have really helped increase the Nets changes. The ball movement isnt that crisp when J.Kidd isnt in the game. And in the playoffs, in a tight game that might cost the Nets a victory. But Lucious really has handle himself well as the point guard with J.Kidd injured. So hopefully he can now continue that as he comes off the bench as the 1st guard come playoffs.

They should get knight before someone else gets their hands on him. This guy is a way more consistent backup for Jason Kidd Than lucious harris has ever been. Brevin knight would be a very good addition to the nets especially with RJ and KMart takin lobs from him, it would even be fun to watch even when JKIDD isnt on the floor.
