I think K-Mart type of player would be good for the Sixers,Bigg Dogg is probaly gonna get traded again.I also think DC should retire he is old and very injury prone. The Sixers better keep DalemBart he is goin to form into a top center in the leauge in a few years.I'm goin to root from them until they are virtually eliminated from the playoffs then we can look foward to rebuilding in the offseason and hopefully we can get a good draft pick.

I like Iverson, he's a great player there's no doubt about it. However, I think his best days have past him by, and I think The 76ers's best days with Iverson on their roster has past them by as well. I would hope Iverson would be traded this off season, I would expect it if they didn't make the playoffs.

First off you have to understand Iverson is a very unique player. I believe he's only 6 foot and 160 pounds, the guys offensive is primarily slashing to the bucket. At that size, taking the physical beatings every game like he does, his career will be shorter than most. I believe it has already began to catch up with him, his time on the injuried list has been increasingly more often, and the amount of games he's played completely healthy have been few and far between. With the HUGE contract Iverson has, I wouldn't want to keep him around long term with the likely possibility that his body will break down earlier than most.

Right now Iverson can be traded and you can get value for him. Who knows in a few years, perhaps more injuries decrease his value on the open market. The 76ers in my opinion should move Iverson if they can get another star for him. You can't trade away such a fan friendly superstar for nothing in return, the backlash from your fan base would be tremendously damaging. If they could pull off a trade to bring in another allstar like Mcgrady, Allen, Francis, Pierce, etc. Than I would say go for it, regardless if they have to throw in draft picks or a prospect.

i cant see the sixers trading they best player. i mean yea his percentage maybe off or whatever but would u really get rid of ur best guy???? i cant see him in another teams jersey. if the sixers did make a stupid decison and trade em, i will still like the sixers, but it'll have the be the dumbest decision made in sixer history to me.

I think Big Dogg will be traded again too. I don't think Iverson will be going anywhere despite the things he does.

This is funny. Real funny. Out of that WHOLE article, there is two words, that basically sums up everything. From the trade rumors, coach's being fired, horrible record etc...The 2 words are......

    * Drums Rolls *

    LARRY BROWN

Simple as that. Iverson misses him. Billy King misses him, Sam, Eric, McKie etc... All miss Brown. I dont care what anyone say's. This horrible season basically happened when Larry left the Philadelphia. I believe we would be a Top 3-4 team in the East right now. Come on, do you really think we would be going threw all of this if he was still the coach...Yeah AI and Larry are always bumping heads, but when its game time, Iverson, Larry and the Sixers always delivers.

I3, also agreed. It's completely obvious. Iverson wouldn't be whining and missing games if Brown was still here.

why do people think iit so bad to get rid of iverson? sure he is a fan favorite but he will never win a championship in Philly he had his chance against the Lakers and failed. that is as far as he will take them. i think the sixers need to head in a new direction.

Why would you want him for? You guys got PIPPEN! Lol. But seriously though if Iverson gets traded I'd really want him to go to Minnestoa. Him and KG, is a mini version of Shaq and Kobe.

Yeh but who would the T-Wolves give?I don't think they would give up Spree or Cassel since the trio is meshing so good. But maybe L.A would do a trade since GP dislikes his role?I'm not sayin I would like this, but it could happen.

People fail to realize that Iverson is not the reason this team is losing... the guys around him continue to get worse and worse every season and the talent pool in Phila seems to deplete each year with each move they make.

Its not often you come across a guy who will give his all every night and put 30 on the board with some leader by example qualities... Some might say trade Iverson for Tmac... what would that accomplish? Nothing.

If the 6ers are to trade him, which I think wouldnt be a smart manuver, they better be damn sure they get a quality (top 10 player) in return for him.

Edit: Also the 76ers havnt had a very good history of trading their superstars... I bring up 2 of the greatest players of all time: Chamberlain & Barkley. After they traded these guys they feel to the very bottom of the L.

The Sixers have been trying for years to surround Iverson with players to make an elite team and they haven't been able to do it. I just don't think that Iverson is the kind of player that big time free agents want to play with.

The fact is that teams in the East are getting better (Heat, Cavs, Pistons, Pacers, Bucks) and the Sixers are going backwards. As long as they stay mediocre they are in all likelihood not going to land a big time difference maker in the draft. They haven't been able to bring in any players through trades that compliment Iverson and make the team better, so what are they going to do?

Iverson is on the way out of his prime and eventually all the times he's been banged up, knocked to the floor, etc. are going to start taking there toll.

I know he is popular and is one of the elite players in the league, but unless the Sixers trade him and bring in some fresh talent, I don't see them being a threat in the East for the rest of Iverson's career.

Trading him may not be poplular, but its the best thing for the team to do in my opinion.

Every player that the Sixers try to get to play along side with Iverson (Hughes, Stackhouse, Van Horn, Robinson, etc.) never works. But as much as I want him to stay, I think that if we wanna have a good, young and healthy team, that we should start over. Who would we build around though? Green and Dalembert? Salmons?

And what players have Van Horn, Hughes, Stackhouse and Robinson played next to extremely well?

I don't really want that cause what'll happen to Crawford? I'd imagine JC would eventually come around to being consistent and there will be no need for AI.

Not anyone inparticularly. It's just that the Sixers always try to "find" a player, then they think they do and the fans get excited and in the end, it's always a bust.

In the offseason when we got Robinson, everyone was like, "Yeah man this year is the year!" etc, etc. and well, look where we are now. That pretty much sums it up.

I believe Iverson is dedicated and will not leave the sixers. but if he does I want him to run the show wherever he goes and i dont see that happening unless he stays in Philly or go to an upcoming team.

I have ot agree that trading IVersonw ould be a goodmove for Philly, except for the fact that they might lose their main attraction and fan drawer. I think the Reporter's reasons etc,. etc,. were too harsh, and not justified in trading AI</div>I'm not even gonna read that article, the line "it behooves the Philadelphia 76ers to kiss this wimp goodbye after the season and get something for him in a trade before everybody else catches on to what a fraud he is" showed me that this dude is jaded to the fullest so im not even gonna bother.
