Stanford faces first loss of the season! Number 1 ranked Stanford is lossing to an unranked Washinton st. by 6 with a 1:23 left to play. the score is 56 to 50. At this point in the game it would take a mirical for Stanford to win. If they lose this game how do you guy's think this will effect their placement in the NCAA tournament? Also how will a loss effect their preformance, after all they haven't lost a single game yet this season.
I know Stanford made an amazing comeback. It was a great game though that came down to the very end. Washinton St. just couldn't hold Stanford off. Great game by Stanford.
That was wild. Washington State collapsed under the pressure. Missed free throw, 5 second call, throwing inbounds pass away, fouling on a 3 pointer. That was tough to watch and I'm not even a Wazzou fan. Crazy.

"i'm gonna go with uconn" - jay bilas. i remember when the kansas city chiefs started 13-0.. and then they began to suck. i don't have stanford or st. joes going to the final four. there's a bunch of teams i'd take over them when tournament time comes around.
St. Joe's is pretty good, even though they lack an inside presence, but Stanford isn't really. Obviously Stanford IS good, but I don't think they're AS good. They'd better look out at Washington. In other news, this helps me in that pick'em contest we have here. One game remains for a perfect 6-0.
Yea, that Stanford ending was wild. I didn't get to see anything til SportsCenter this morning. I couldn't believe that Washington State choked that bad though. They had the game in the bag but couldn't hold on. There are reasons why Stanford is currently ranked #1 though, and they showed it last night. They were relentless and refused to lose the game. That's what they need come the tourney. But, I'm not saying that they're gonna win it all though. Very good chance, but, you do have to have the ability to beat teams you're supposed to. They almost didn't last night, but, they didn't let go and stayed in and won.

I'm not a fan of standford or anything.... but i personally dont believe they'll be a final four team this year.... plenty of sleepers out there like Mississipi State,Texas and UCon to name a few
That was amazing, a 4 pt play, a 5 second violation, and a sweet three....Stanford has luck on their side this year.
Yeah that was a sweet ending for Stanford. A lose ball finds the hands of a Stanford player who doesn't know what to do, so he passes to a teammate who manages to drain an amazingly long three to win as time expires. I'm still in shock.
