Simms is going to start this sunday. I said several times the bucs would be so bad that he would get the starting nod once the season was in the tank. It happened sooner than expected. Now look for this bucs team to challege the first bucs team for 0-16.

They have the #6 defense in the NFL, despite their record. No way they go 0-16. They'll put together some wins once the young guys get in there and are turned loose.

Getting Pittman back is going to help, too. Clayton is looking like one of the NFL's top rookies. The wheels haven't fallen off in Tampa...yet. Starting Simms is the right move.

One thing is certain our defense is keeping us in games. But i have to admit this gruden has turned our offense into a senior citizens first string hof unit.

    The postives:

    1. Pittman in his mid 20's comes in place for 34 year old garner who is out the year.

    2. 39 year old Tim brown is demoted and 20 year old clayton now is the number 1 wr.

    3. 34 year old Todd stuessie whom i thought wouldnt be bad is being replaced by kenyata walker who is in his 20's and rumord to look better this year.

    4. 36 year old brad johnson with a noodle arm is replaced with a 20 something year old qb who actually has mobilty. (tho im not a fan of simms)

    5. If tampa goes 0-16 this means we get the first overall pick and beleive me i wouldnt mind matt leinart or mike williams from usc.

I am proud of you bucsy, you finally realize how bad the bucs are. Only problem is the defense is not what it used to be, and by time you get an offense built it will probably be shell of its former self.

There is no guarantee that 0-16 will get you the #1 pick since Miami also appears to be headed to a winless hell....the tie break is the strength of the schedule they played, so there is no way to know at this time who would get the #1....

i think monte kiffin has knack for making guys play much better. So i really dont see our defense dropping off unless we dont replace eventual guys like brooks. Tell ya a guy who is gonna be testing free agency alot of people dont know about. Hartwell from baltimore the guy is a freak playing behind ray lewis and he is testing free agency this offseason. I wouldnt mind him here in tampa but im dreaming and we would have to take a ticket.

I myself am disgusted with gruden and i wouldnt mind if he was sent packing his bags. This team is looking like a rebuild mode with alot of picks next year with trades with sandiago and the giants. 2 6th rd picks and 2 5th round picks. Due to trading oben to sandiago and trading jason whittle to newyork. I love our future.

Well if you base it on team needs, i think its no secret the phins would want a franchise qb. Tampa needs help in all areas and i think if one of them guys is sitting there we couldnt pass it up.

Kiffen will be a candidate in Miami after Vanilla is fired....he nearly took the 49ers job a year ago, and if he went with Miami, he wouldnt have to relocate his family across the country....if Gruden is fired, I wouldnt be surprised to see him in Miami....he would actually be a decent fit in Miami, where the aging defense fits his mold....
