How about a trade that would involve Glenn Robinson and aaron Mckie being shipped here to the clippers for Chris Wilcox and a small forward from our clips or anyone with a contract to equal this trade out. Do you think this trade would help this orginization. nay or yay.

Wilcox is full of potential, and I wouldn't trade for those two just because of their contracts anyway. That would sound like a likely trade, but if I were Baylor I wouldn't do it. Ofcourse this'd have to come in the offseason, but Glenn and Mckie are getting old and I think they're both overpaid. I'd rather see them go after someone young than trade some of our young ones for two old guys.

No I wouldn't like that, Wilcox right now is decent, and can be a very good player, Big Dog is an ageing man, he's 31 and Mckie is 33. The Clippers arent going to make a splash in the league in the next 3 years, so keep the young guys b/c by that time those 2 guys won't be that effective and will just be packing baggage.

yeah i agree w/ these guys: big dog and mckie are getting old, but stats wise they would be a good addition for that season only, in the long run though the clips are better off w/ keeping wilcox

Although I believe some quality Veterans could really help The Clippers in their quest to the playoffs, I don't believe Glenn would be the right fit currently.

Chris Wilcox shouldn't go anywhere, right now there's very few quality centers out there, if you can't get one of them you simply build up a solid two man rotation at that postion. I believe Chris Kaman and Chris Wilcox could be just that at the center slot.

I believe bringing in a point guard who has had success elsewhere, and who has several seasons under his belt would be best for The Clippers. Perhaps a Steve Nash? I believe The Clippers have 10 Million + in cap space to sign free agents next season, so they defintely can improve dramatically next year. They have a great low post player on offense and defense in Elton Brand. They have a solid two man rotation at center with Chris Wilcox and Kaman. They have plenty of scoring with Maggette and Richardson. It's really just adding that dynamic point guard, I believe Nash would be the ideal acquisition for this team in the off season.

It would be a steal for the Clips, assuming the SF isnt Richardson or Maggette...because a Brand, Robinson, Richardson, Maggette lineup would be deadly...but I'm assuming Richardson or Maggette would be involved, which in that case, i wouldnt do it...

I think the Clips would be better off trying to get Eric Snow and Kyle Korver in exchange for QRich and possibly a draft pick. Snow's very good at setting up scorers and Korver can spread the floor for Brand and Maggette. Q's got a lot of upside but it seems like LAC could be better off with a smart, unselfish point that can play D, rather than a guy that takes a lot of low-percentage shots and doesn't look to pass very often when his teammates consist of a strong post player and the most efficient guy in the league at getting to the line.

Hey a least you are putting in your 2cents. I don't think this trade would do the Clipper much good, I would try and build the bench with productive veterans and pick up a quality POINT GUARD. I believe 1 established quality point guard would make a hugh improvment to the entire team. !!

hmm, I see it the other way around...I just don't see big dog fitting in with the Clippers at all.

Hey everyone thanks for your replys the information was interesting. Yes I think this team needs a point gaurd. How would you all like Allen Iverson j/k. Even though there are rumors of Iverson going to the clips I want him to stay in philly. Maggette can be your AI he already has the sleeve. Great conversation everyone.

This is the first time I hearing about this trade or whatever .. And being from Philly .. I would like to get players who are good or whatever .. But that wouldn't be fair .. Aaron McKie is old , and he's still good .. But really isn't that good ..

NO G. Robinson dosent play D and is to me in about the same shape as A. Walker. The Big Dogg is a Big waiste.....Wilcox will shine this year..........Also if you trade Q Dogg for Korver and Snow your crazy.............Q is close to 20 a night Snow and korver might give you 20 a week................

I wouldn't agree to THIS particular trade but the Clips do need to get some veterans if they want to contend... But I wouldnt be too happy parting with Wilcox and someone else for Grob and Mckie.

This thread should be locked. Unless someone could come up with a link on if this rumor is still taking place now. Which I think it isnt since I live in PA and havent heard any thing about it on comcast sports net.
