Cuban didn't appreciate that Ervin Johnson, the last Wolves player to enter the game, attempted a three-pointer as time expired. Mavs center Shawn Bradley blocked the shot. Kevin Garnett sat on the scorers' table during a timeout late in the game, picked up a phone and had a mock conversation. I know that it's just a joke and just for fun but the wolves shouldn't do anything like this.

Not the first time KG has opened his mouth over the past few seasons, it came back to haunt him come playoff time the last few seasons but will it again?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AllNet:</div><div class="quote_post">Not the first time KG has opened his mouth over the past few seasons, it came back to haunt him come playoff time the last few seasons but will it again?</div> First of all Garnett just said "IF we win game 4 against the Lakers we believe we can take the series" Of course they lost Game 4 and went on to lose the series... And btw no it wont come back to haunt him... Wolves can play some "antics" if they want... they had a blowout and had some fun... maybe Dallas should concentrate on NOT letting a team score 120 in 4 quarters rather than worrying about a mock phone call. ... So basically Mark Cuban wouldnt have had to seen Ervin Johnson take a 3 (even tho it was blocked apparantly ) and the Wolves bench cheering and having fun on the bench if his team would play ball.
What's wrong with Johnson shooting a three? Is there a rule preventing a big guy from shooting a three? About KG's comments, I agree that it's pretty much below the belt. What if someone else retaliates with comments about the Wolves' playoffs experiences? hehehe. Was it over the PA system? But it was pretty funny. lol. He's just a kid having fun coz of a win so he better let it go. He better go buy a chess team if he wants a silent competition. hahaha.
Is there anything that Mark Cuban hasn't bitched about? Not saying Minnesota was displaying good sportsmanship, but seriously, does Cuban think money should buy him constant respect?

I respect-(ed) the wolves and garnett.Untill i found out that KG has got a mouth like t-mac and says and does some real dumb stuff.... considering you have never got out of the first round...That is a REALLY dumb stuff to say..KG need to shut up and play..This is another reason why the wolves WONT..I reapeat WILL NOT..Get out of the first round.Because they are TOO OVER confident..And KG is disappointing me with stuff he is doing and saying...He is NOT as great as everyone makes out..And this was a pretty silly thing to do.!

You think he isn't as great as everyone thinks he is?That means you know nothing about basketball. He puts up amazing stats everynight on a consistent basis. He plays with heart and desire and he will be MVP and it's not going to be Tim Duncan.

And anothet thing..It does not matter if Tim Duncan does not get the MVP..Because he steps up when its time to play THE PLAY-OFFS! Check the stats..They DO NOT lie! Tim Duncan play-offs 2003 24.7-PPG 15.4-RPG 3.79-BPG Kevin Garnett play-offs 2003 24.0-PPG 13.3-RPG 1.67-BPG Now who REALLY stepped up there game..? EDITED: Not to mention those who said KG has no help talk absolite bs... Wally Sztrblkfkhljt averaged 14.0 ppg Chauncey Billups 13.0 ppg Troy Hudson 17.ppg While T.D had Parker 13.1-PPG Manu-12.1-PPG No help hey?
Just a classless act, and KG is likely going to be fined for it. But Johnson shot the ball because the crowd wanted him to. I bet you 99 times out of 100 he would have missed it anyway. But KG's act was really stupid, he should apologize for it sometime soon.
Its funny that this is coming from a San Antonio Tim Duncan fan. Kevin Garnett IS arguably the best player in the NBA. As classless as KG was for his comments, this would not have been a real big issue if Mark "Self-Promotion" Cuban didn't say anything in the first place. So in the end....Who cares?
