Keys To The Game

Spurs
Must not let Amare turn the corner in the post
Must get back on Transition defense
Spread the ball around, Parker must attack the basket
Hit open shots, attack the glass
take care of the basketball and make your free-throws

Suns
Run the floor every possible chance
Must rebound the basketball
Don't let Parker and Ginobili beat you off the dribble
Keeping feeding the ball to Amare in the post
Shoot the ball consistantly, get Marion going early

Allnet's Prediction

The last time these two teams met it was a very close game throughout, Suns lead late on but Spurs behind key plays from Tim Duncan came through with the victory. Tim Duncan is not there this time, controlling the tempo is a must do for the Spurs. I expect S.A to come out strong and try and get a good lead early on. Amare will be unstoppable in the post but I expect Bruce Bowen to hold Shawn Marion to a low FG%, Spurs even though without Duncan are playing good basketball and are spreading the ball well by getting everyone involved. I expect Spurs winning ways to continue even without Timmy

Nice preview, I agree that they need to control Amare in the post and not let him turn the corner, if they do he could go for 30+, but the Spurs will still win, They are jut plain better, Spurs by 10+

I won't be around tomorrow so if anyone can post their game thoughts before and after the game that would be great

Thanks

I will try and do a preview for every game from now on, as Spurs mod I need to do my part getting this board going even more.

Great preview man...And yeai agree...Lets make amare should jumpers...If rasho can keep him off the boards..And not allow him to get any put backs offensive rebounds..And second chances..Then that will limit his effectivness..Also bruce bowen should do a good job on marion..Whilst Manu who is an underated defender hopefully can irritate joe johnson into shots he doesn't want..Overall it should be an exciting game..It will be intresting to se how far spurs can go without duncan!
