Ray of Hope Foundation?s "Off Glass" Campaign Today there's a signing @ Seattle Team Shop...haha I will be attending it & get my crappy jersey signed ... Along with that when I get the two placards (for donation for the foundation) I will get 2 Sonics game tickets...haha, yay my first game! I know you guys don't care, but if you guys are from the Puget Sound/Emerald area, come by the Seattle's Team Shop. "Buy an "Off Glass" placard for either $5 or $10 benefitting the Ray of Hope Foundation and Ray will autograph an item of your choice...Buy two or more placards and receive two tickets to the Sonics-Detroit Pistons game the next day. Your placard will be on display in the Team Shop during the entire month of March!" Article here.
Sounds like a great cause and well worth heading along if you're i n the Seattle area. Have fun, Quey!
it was fun...haha...I think I freaked out...my convo somewhat went like this: "I'm your biggest fan!" and he said something like thanks...haha...and I gave it to him to sign and I like yeah, my brother thinks I'm a real dork for being so excited (I was just spazzing...>.<) and he's like, wait--you two are brothers and sisters? and I'm like yeah...and my bro nodded too...and he asked us if we played bball...and again I spazzed and I said yea....JV basketball...thanks....haha nightmare or a dream? I don't know. my bro was just chilling...and all my brother said was how are you doing and he said Ray Allen is pretty cool--and he has a deep voice *yep I knew that from radio and tv interviews...* hmm...next time I hope I won't be spazzing out again...
Sounds like a great experience, I remember going to Blockbuster to meet Shawn Kemp and he never showed up. But hey I met some dance team members last year during when you can shoot a free throw after the game (which i made ). Wish I could've gone out and met Ray but it's all good.
