The Grizzlies (38-24), who appear headed to the playoffs for the first time, moved a franchise-best 14 games over .500 and need only four more victories to clinch a winning season. Last season they won just 28 games, which had been a franchise record. </div> RecaplBoxscore The Grizzlies struggled to keep it close early on but eventually pulled away mid-way through the fourth quarter. The Grizzlies were playing without injured players, Mike Miller and Lorenzen Wright. Bonzi Wells (12 pts, 4 rbs) would start in place of Miller, and "Big" Jake Tsakalidas (6 pts, 1 stl) would start in place of Wright but sit down early after getting into foul trouble. Bo Outlaw and Theron Smith had great games. Outlaw recorded thirteen points and grabbed eleven rebounds, while the rookie Smith scored seven points and grabbed six rebounds. He could be a valuable contributer while Wright is out. Every victory is important in this stage of the game, especially one on the road in the West.
