This thread isn't to hot today so far. Close the whole game, but I think the Lakers can pull this one out. Jefferson is playing pretty well, and I didn't know Lawrence Frank was only a year and half older then Shaq. Boy, Jefferson sure has a bigass chrome dome. Good lord, his head barely fits in the pic. U know he's really 6-7.
82-77 LAL, 4:30 remaining left in 4th quarter Shaq with 26, Payton 16, Kerry and Richard with 19 each, K-Mart is having a bad shooting night with 13 pts... but it's still a game, the Lakes gotta stop the Nets' easy transition and keep feeding it to Shaq while Shaq straight goes to the basket or waits for the open man and whoever he is, he's got to knock down those open shots... prediction: Lakers by 8, 96-88
The Lakers wrapped up the game on a big run, and their defense stepped up in the 4th quarter. Good win!
I kinda missed a huge portion of the game due to myself being in church, but I was back in time to catch the 4th quarter, and the Lakers did what they're used to doing. Feed Shaq in the low post, dominate the soft frontcourt, better shot selection, hitting outside shots, and most importantly, they kicked their defense in gear. And that led to our 41st win of the season.
I didn't see much of this game either, I caught the end of it though. I heard NJ was up for most of the game, but the Lakers battled back towards the end and were able to put this one in the bag with a few minutes remaining in the 4th. Looked like another game that Shaq dominated, what else is new? Looks like Payton had an impressive game as well, how did he look defensivley out there? BTW: Good looks on the preview QRich, I totally forgot about it today. I'll get the one after Laker_Fever, and we'll just go at that pace.

On the game, Shaq was unstopable, Did anyone see him go flying into the stands, I held my breath there, Hoping he wasnt hurt, Im glad the fan was there to stop him...Kidd said he wanted to play but team doctors didnt want him too, he will play on Wednesday though.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">LOS ANGELES, Mar. 7 (Ticker) -- Shaquille O'Neal overshadowed the absences of Kobe Bryant and Jason Kidd and overwhelmed the New Jersey Nets. O'Neal scored 32 points as the Lakers rallied for a 94-88 victory over the Nets, their 10th in 12 games. The nationally televised matchup of the teams that met in the 2002 NBA Finals lost some of its luster when Bryant re-injured his shoulder on Friday night and Kidd chose to rest his bruised knee. </div> Recap Box Score
