Raptors Win 84-76, amazing game for Carter, 28 points, 8 asissts, 8 rebounds, 3 steals. Chris Bosh posterized Jamaal Magloire and got the foul too. (he missed foul shot tho [IMG]) Donyell marshall had a great game getting another double double, Chris bosh also had a double double, Rod strickland played well making nice passes and bringing the ball up. Continue this play and the next few games will be wins. Good Job Raptors. Keep It Up!

Vince is a different player when he concentrates on attacking off the dribble and doesn't settle from outside. Overall he's been better in this regard most of this year. His assist average is up almost a full dime per game over his previous best for a season. I think he could be a legitimate 20+ points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists per game guy if he tried.

Right now there's only a couple guys posting in range of those types of numbers, T-Mac and LeBron..................

Yea...that dunk reminded me a lot of the one Clark had on Bradley a loooong time ago when he was with the Raps. (Clark's was better though [IMG] ) Maagloire had a CRAZY game (23 pnts 21 boards). I'm glad B.Diddy didn't get a lot of playing time...we really needed a win.

Nice game done by the Raptors. Finally they stopped their losing streak.

Good job guys well done, Donyell Marshall with another double double and Carter with 28 points.

Dj, next time make a better title for a game thread.

Sorry, I was unable to do a preview, I just happened to wake up after the game started, and I had things to do after that anyway.

Well played game by the Raptors. The Hornets have been struggling, Baron Davis didn't even start because he missed the team bus. The Raptors played with a lot of energy, much like the game against the Knicks, fortunately they were actually able to win this one.

Vince had another great game with 28 points, 8 assists, and 8 rebounds, Chris Bosh had 16 points, 12 rebounds, and another good game by Marshall scoring 14 points and grabbing 14 rebounds.

Jamaal Magloire returning to his home town had a monster game, 23 points and 21 rebounds, and was pretty much the only force for the Hornets today.

    Box Score

Their next game is at Indiana on Tuesday
(I'll be doing the preview), that will be a very tough game, then on the Wednesday they're at home against the Cavs. Hopefully the Raptors can win atleast one of those two.

Woah! You hear Carter talkin about becomin more of a complete player everytime, but I never thought he was gonna improve this much so soon. Gotta give him props. So we tied for the 7th spot wit Cavs? Who's got tougher schedules comin up? I know we face'em twice later on too, my friend's goin to one of the games... we better win.

HAHAHAHAHa, you're dumb. That wasen't even close to posterizing. He didn't even dunk it, his hand was a foot away from the rim, Bosh sorta just tossed it down. CB4 is a good player, but i'll take Magloire any day of the week and twice on sunday. Don't listen to swirsky.

Well we've only played 14 division games, while the Cavs have played 30. So our schedule should be a little better. We face them after we play the Pacers on tuesday, so hopefully we can snag the season series from them. However, this will be the third and the most challenging, different-look Cavs squad we'll face so far. First they had RickyD and we beat them, then they had their overhaul with EWill and Tony Battie coming in and we still beat them, but now, with J McInnis who has been doing a marvelous job taking pressure off LBJ and doling out the dimes, we'll have our hands full.

Man, too bad Knicks won today, hopefully they don't get too far ahead of us because I still think we have a chance to get the 6th spot and face the Pistons in the 1st round, but I don't want to jinx anything. Also, the Celts play the Twolves tonight (will be broadcasted on The Score) and if they lose we move into the 7th spot.

Dunk- To throw the ball directly down through the basket.

I'm sure that is what Chris Bosh did.

So your saying that Richard Jeffersons Dunk On Chris Bosh A week ago wasnt a dunk either, he did the exact same thing. dude, thing about what your going to say before you say it. Good Game for the Raptors, hopefully the t'wolves beat the celtics tonight and we climb into 7th.
Oh and for the second time norespect. Get a different avatar ive had that one since I joined JBB. Thanks.

    Great game .. and a great win .. ! ..
By the way, for kids who haven't been watching ball for long time .. when the ball is directly ( spiked ) into the rim even without touching it .. IT"S A DUNK !

And Magloire got postrized infront of his friends and family ...

Away from that non-sense .. great game .. and boy what an important victory

Oh and by the way DJ, great job being active in the forum in general , and covering the Raps !

Great game by the Raptors, and great win, they played good defense and really played hard today. Bosh had a solid game and we very agressive, yea it does count as a dunk when you spike it at the rim, b/c I remember Keon Clarks 2 years ago, the "windmill" dunk he did.

Anywas Carter also played well and very aggressively, he had 26 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assits. The Raptors need to build on this going into Indiana. I'm not really going to say I expect a win, but I just want them to play hard, then beat Cleveland on Wednesday.

We have a real point guard, doesn't it feel great, as old as Strickland is, he's stil lthe best PG we've had all year. Mo also had a good game and Marshall did good, just didn't shoot too well.

IMO even Palacio is a better pg for us than AW. Williams can't push the ball up the court, penetrate to the basket, and set up other teammates as well as Milt and Strickland. AW is able to play more minutes than the both of them but he's still best suited as an off-guard.

I don't know about AW playing the 3, but he's not a bad pg, he can push the ball but his body just can't move that fast anymore, he's also not bad at peneatrating, but again his body just can't do it for him. The only thing that gives him an edge over Milt is that he can shoot, and he's not turnover prone. Remember he was averaging 4.1 dimes playing mostly the off guard spot and is still 10th in the league in assist to turnover ratio. (Milt gets 0.24 more turnovers a game and plays 8.9 less minutes).

I don't like the way norespect handled the whole issue, so I hate to say that I'm actually kind of siding with the guy. Bosh definately dunked the ball but to say he "posterized" Magloire is a bit of a stretch IMO. Whenever I think of someone being posterized I picture a guy slamming the ball with authority over the defender. Bosh did not appear to over-power Magloire (his hand would've been closer to the rim if he had done so) nor did he slam it with much authority. Jefferson's dunk on Bosh a few games ago, now THAT'S someone being posterized.

It was a great dunk but I personally wouldn't say Magloire was absolutely posterized. You're all entitled to your opinions though.

Well it looked alot like Keons move along time ago. Yea he didnt posterize, cuz usually u posterize them when they are on the ground and a person dunks way over them.. b/c Magloire jumped at the same height as Bosh, but yea, it looked good, "flashy" for Bosh
