<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Rose believes he first fractured his hand during training camp when he was still with the Chicago Bulls.

In a Feb. 8 game at Golden State, the pain became too much for Rose to bear.

He had surgery in Toronto two days later, and hasn't played since.

Yesterday, he spent about 45 minutes after practice shooting and working out with assistant coach Bob Beyer.

Rose ran drills and greeted reporters sweaty and panting for breath.

When asked if he wanted a minute to recover, he shook his head.

"Oh, I'm all right. I'm happy to be doing interviews tired," he grinned.

"The hardest part is right now we're struggling, and when things are going well it's easy to fill up your bandwagon. When things are going not so well, like they're going right now, it's hard for me not to be out there with my teammates."</div>

I hope that would explain his poor shooting percentage.

Well, if this is true I should take back all the times I critised Jalen for his poor shooting %, but I still have to make the point that his shot selection is terrible. Hopefully he will be back soon though, we need him.

Is this thread about Rose wanting teammates to be more vocal or is it about his injury? The headline for the thread doesn't match the quote so it's a little confusing.

But what Rose says in the article is true (concerning the quietness of the raptors). He mentions how players on the court don't communicate on defense but I also notice that they never talk on the bench as well. Winning or not, everytime the camera focuses on the bench, no one is talking at all. That was the beauty of having a guy like JYD on our team. Both on the court and on the bench, he brought the energy needed to keep the team's spirit up. Especially on the road, we need players talking, cheering and yelling at each other to maintain the energy level.

Its about both, I was hoping people would read the article for the part about talkie, but I just thought it was more interesting that he's had this injury all along and never really said anything. He should have talked before so he wouldn't be out in the important stretch of the season.
