I gotta give Williams the award as well. He has been Detroit's most dangerous weapon. However, if Roth keeps playing as well as he has been, he will definitely win the rookie of the year award.

i think that it will come down to those 2 as well.... but i think Roy will get it because he has proved himself against better teams. Roth has won the last 2 against Cleveland and Cinncinatti

Yeah, but QB is a more difficult position to play, and he's playing with a lot of poise.

Also, you have to remember, Pittsburgh/Cleveland is a rivalry game. I don't care how bad Cleveland is, that's a tough game for Pittsburgh.

Roth will struggle in some games, and it will hurt his chances. If roy struggles it wont make as big of a deal.

I hear ya BF1. It's tough because he's played so well of late. But now we've got the Cowboys, Patriots, and then Eagles. This will be the time to see what kind of player he is. I don't think Cowher is going to ask him to win any of those games, but not to lose them. Should be interesting either way.

And VF makes an excellent point that playing QB is much more difficult then playing receiver. Roy Williams impacts such a small part of what the Lions do to win, whereas Roethlisberger is in control of half of what the Steelers do to win. Big difference.

So you guys can get off your NFC butt kissing. It's going to be an AFC player who wins the Offensive ROY.

EAgles lead the league in Sacks. Last year they were close to the last in sacks. His presence alone makes a HUGE difference.

But patrick Kerney leads the league in sacks and has clearly outplayed kearse.

At least this one can be defended. McNabb has been playing extremely well. Although, I wouldn't put him at playing the best so far.

Culpepper has lost only 1 fumble all season. That's not too bad.

Granted, he has put the ball on the grass 5 times alltogether.

I would agree, after the game yesterday Culpepper is a viable MVP candidate. And if not for the MNF game in Philly, he would be a run away winner.
