Raptors lose 94-84 in OT. I blame this loss on Vince Carter. I know he played a good first half, but he needs to step it up when it counts. There were two accounts in overtime that made me furious, he faded away and then forced up a 3 the second time. With his athleticism he should be driving, or doing something more productive, he missed his last 5 shots before he took that 3, when hes that cold he shouldn't be taking that shot. Our defense in overtime was awful as well.

Once again this team sucks it up. No surprise.

WHYYY Vince, he had 2 chances to win the game, like Courtvision said, Raptors relaxed to the perimeter in the 2nd half and couldn't do it. They got it to OT, but that was just a horrible performance in OT.

Carter shouldn't have takes thsoe shots, I know he has a good shot but he wasn't in the flow, so their was no need for that, he just wasn't in it in the 4th quarter and couldn't get it back in OT.

Vince should hae got it back to Bosh when Bosh set the screen. Bosh could have hooked it over Artest.

Actually I was just thinking....for the last shot why did they just not give it to Vince to drive to the basket to get to the line? Taking a shot is the easy way out and one way to tell the team you are dead tired. Good fight from the Raptors but they just have to be smart and don't let these games get away from them

Well I predicted they'd lose by 10 but not in this fashion.

It was a great game though, we just got worn down at the end & artest did a great job defending carter when it mattered most. Very smart move by KO to put Curry and MoPete on Artest instead of Carter. Artest would've worn Carter down if he had to guard him. And what a great game for Strickland. The man was so close to having a triple double tonight. It's great to see that we finally have a true point guard to open up everyone elses game.

If Raptors play the Cavs like we played Indiana today we should be able to win. Cavs have been Red Hot lately so I dunno about our chances.

Did you notice that every time Palacio came in it was twice as hard for us to score I'm very surprised.

Strickland is definitely the first ever true point guard that we ever had. All those assists, and points. I know how Utah felt with Stockton now [IMG]

    One more thing:

I also gotta give credit to CB4. He did a superb job defending JO and an exceptional job on the other end too. And I also love the way we're gang rebounding to compensate for our lack of size.

If only Rod could play 48 or 53 minutes without being benched.....we can all dream cant we?

O well I dont want Toronto to make the playoffs anyways. Not only dont I want to give up my hopes, I want a good draft pick.

EDIT- This could have been a totally different game. If I start posting alot of crap then I'm just taking some steam off for my hatred against the Raptors.

Curry, Palacio, Mo, Glover, Moiso and Archibald combined for 3 rebounds in 99 minutes

If they don't make the playoffs they will likely be in as low as 9th-11th in the East. That won't get us a draft pick that will make a huge impact, thats going high lottery. In terms of getting a good draft pick, we'd have to be one of the worst teams in the league, if we're as high as 9th in the east that wont land us a great draft pick like your thinking of.

Who knows we might ge a steal? The Draft pick is the toughest decision for GM's in my opinion. You don't know what your getting from them.
