there is certainly a wide range of gifted players that will be very good superstars but unfortunately i predict that one of these soon the be superstats will be affected by injury like vince carter was... who was amazing before he went out

I wouldn't be surprised if they are 25+ ppg scorers next year.
Amare Stoudemire,Dwyane Wade,Carmelo Anthony,Yao Ming and last but not least Lebron James.Any one of these players could become amazing players. They all have huge potential. They are all great players and great scorers. But Wade might get affected by injury. He is a bit injury prone.
How about 1 that's going to be better.... Lebron, 2 years from now he is a 28 point, 7 rebound, 7 assist, 4 steal guy. Take that to the bank
i think melo is the best rookie period... best all around player... hes awesome! but amare has impressed me alot... yeah wade is injury prone

The most spg I've ever seen was by John Stockton. 3.2, anyways yeah I pretty much agree with those numbers.

Those are all the ones I also think will be future stars, they're all great already and still are getting so much better every year.. Amare I think will be a 25ppg guy next year though, and Yao I think will finally reach 20+ppg. Dwyane Wade I think it is just a season or two away from atleast 23ppg also. I don't see him ever being a big assist guy, but scoring is natural for him. And then there's still Carmelo and LeBron, two guys who are already averaging 20+ppg as 19 year old rookies... These last two drafts are going to be great for the league's future.
as far as being an all-around cat like KG,I would nominate Chris Bosh. this dude is a stud and in a couple years he's gonna be kickin' the NBA's ass. Bosh has the skills to be an all-around,impact player, like the Big Ticket.
Yeh Bosh is a really good player but I haven't really seen him hit jumpers like KG does.I think he is goin to have a good future in the NBA though.I think another young player who doesn't get recognized enough is Kareem Rush he is a pretty good role player for L.A and I think he could have a lot of individual sucess on a weaker team.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting timduncan021:</div><div class="quote_post">Lebron James, the next Tmac</div> How bout no, Lebron cares about more than stats, he wants to win, Tmac...uhh he has one thing to his game...offense....LeBron will become a good defender over time...LeBron plays with more passion than TMac too as for best rookie, Carmelo is not the best, Lebron passes, scores and rebounds, Carmelo is a great rookie, but Bron makes the players around him better...both with be real special players. I think Arenas will be an amazing player, can score, all he needs to do is up his defense..he can play defense, he just gets lazy on D.
lebron is nothing like tmac. lebron reminds me of grant hill, imean grant was a better scorer and lebron a better passer but practically identical body types and stats(in rookie years). But lebron could be better. As for thwe next KG, Dre is right. Bosh will be a superstar one day, racking up 12-13 rebounds and 23-24 points along with 2-3 blocks and 1 steal, but i do not think he will be as good of a passer. Just hink, They have about the same range, both are slim, good rebounders, and they had about identical numbers during they're rookie season.
One player that doesn't get enough attention is Carlos Boozer. I don't know if he will ever be a KG, but he has a shot at it. He is only in his second year, and is already one of the very few players including KG that averages double doubles. He along with James and Z have lead the Cav's to a great season. If the Cav's continue to do well, and he improves his game look for him being a huge player in the future.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting timduncan021:</div><div class="quote_post">Lebron James, the next Tmac</div> LBJ isn't like Tmac at all, except for in height. Tmac is a scorer and the offense is run through him. he takes 20+ shots in most games. Lebron runs the offense and sets other people up. Lebron could be like Tmac but according to him 'his game won't allow him to be selfish."

Well, Boozer kinda took over in those games and he was Garnett-esque... in each of the first two games King missed, he notched 32 pts and 20 rebounds! That's KG's A-game numbers... he is not doing it lately because King is back but he is capable of those numbers anytime IMO if he's not the third option behind King and Z.
Arenas, Bosh, Wade, Lebron, Melo, Amare, Boozer, Yao, Mikael Pietrus, Kwame Brown, Mike Dunleavy I think has on of the biggest chances, he's been playing point and had a 20-20 game at the point. Also Darko Milicic Dunleavy can shoot, pass, score, handle the ball, rebound, not the great a defender, but he's like a Grant Hill type guy with a better long range shot. Yes Arenas isn't in second year, but he's the same age as Wade and a lot of these guys.

If someone averages 4 spg, then they will be one of the greatest defensive players of all time. Lamar Odom is going to be the next KG.
Yea Odom, but he's in like 4th year, but yea I see him and Dunleavy Jr as the guys right now that have all those skills to be a KG.
