If you were Johnny Davis, what would your starting lineup be with this ball club 30 games under .500?

Pg-Stevenson-PG of our future. Big defensive PG that we've been looking for, btw he has offense too. Backup-Gaines

    SG-Tmac-no need to explain. Backup-Gaines/Bogans

SF-Bogans-He's got great defense and can spot up the 3. He's disappeared from our lineup the last couple of games. Backup-Stevenson

PF-Gooden-Could become a superstar. Backup- Juwan

C-Hunter-We need defense, so he's our man. Backup-ZAZA!

The oldest guy in our lineup would be Tmac-24. We gotta let the guys live up to their full potential, they aren't going to do that rotting on our bench. Give all of these guys about 25 minutes.

This is gonna surprise all of you, but Declerq and Lue would be effective off the bench. Yes, I said Declerq and effective in the same sentence. Seriously though, we need a bunch of energy off the bench and Declerq would bring that big time. He would give us a pretty effective 5-10 minutes off the bench. NO WAY HE SHOULD START OR PLAY MORE THAN ZAZA AND HUNTER.

Theres not much more you could say... I agree 100%.. We should hire you instead of JD.. Not only would we stand more of a chance in games, but heck we could gain experiance...

Remember who Gaines played under... Theres no way hes a bust..

The biggest statement you made in this thread was starting Drew Gooden. I personally couldn't agree more. They traded Mike Miller, than Orlando's second best player, for Drew Gooden and than this season they sat him on the bench. The guy has the potential to be a star, I just don't believe he's gotten his fair shake yet in Orlando.

I think there's hope. They could defintely become a .500+ team next season, with the high selection in this years draft, and perhaps a trade if they decide to go that route. However becoming a SERIOUS team in The East may take some help from Grant Hill, whether it be by his contributions on the court, or him retiring and giving Orlando cap relief, either one is suitable in my opinion.

    I would do this
Start Lue and let him play 25-30 minutes then let reece and deshawn play the remaining minutes
Start McGrady his 62 points speak for themselves
Start Bogans The guy is amazing
Start Drew Juwan is not cutting it with that starting position
Start Hunter The guy is awsome

Gabe is gone! So hopefully this will mean a new coach too and hopefully it will be one who knows how to play our young guys.

Perhaps we could bring Doc back , or Byron Scott or O'Brien...

I really think this is the greatest move in a long time , out of this we could get a good draft pick a good coach that is what we need the most.

Juwan has been are most consistent player recently. I know everyone wants drew to start. but don't say juwan has been playing bad. T-mac and him have been killing teams on the pick n roll.

Juwan has been playing good ball. I like the way he plays, but would u rather give someone who will have 16 and 7 consistently more minutes than someone who can become a star? Like 18 and 10 possibly. 1 of them have to go this offseason no matter what.

Drew missed the last 2 games anyways , but I agree Juwan needs to be shipped out of here in the off-season , simply because we need Drew Gooden to become a star.

We could sign a solid backup PF in the off-season or get it in a trade for Juwan, but as of right now I'll start Gooden for the rest of the season. We need to start tanking now , let's try new things , see how Gaines can play with T-Mac on the floor see how DeShawn , T-Mac , Bogans , Gooden and Hunter play at the same time.

I'll agree with most you all said up to now.

Juwan plays good, but we must really develop Drew and the only way to do this is giving him more responsibility and more minutes. He is not the only guy which needs more minutes and responsibilities. So I go with sportsrock's Starting5:

    Stevenson, T-Mac, Bogans, Gooden, Hunter.
