What can I say about the Texans? I was scared about that game all week, and knowing the Vikings, I knew even at 21-0 that the game was by no means out of hand. I think that Texas has a really good young team, and I think that Carr and Johnson are one of the best combo's in the league. It was really hard to watch, but they impressed the heck out of me. Then again, I think Johnson was getting lined up against the Vikes 6th string CB... lol... but that's a whole other topic [IMG]

I think it would not have matter if he was lined up vs 1st db, vikes pass D sucks. No pressure up front becuase players arent preforming. Not great covreage skills, vikes are team that will start fast and trail off down the road.

I gotta disagree with you BF1. Our Pass defense is ranked as one of the worst in the NFL, but there are good reasons for that.

First off, our primary corners are very good. Winfield and Williams are quality corners. Russell and Chavous are good safeties. Beyond that, we have been hit hard with injuries, so we are suffering with a few late free agent pickups. Terrence Shaw is looking ok, but he needs to get up to speed.

Our pass rush is improving. We had 4 sacks yesterday and a number of very good hurries. Unfortunately, our pass coverage was soft, especially in the #4 corner position (Brown).

The biggest reason that the Vikings pass defense is ranked so poorly, though, is that teams are forced to pass a lot on the Vikings. Our run defense is pretty good, and we have been getting ahead of most teams (except for the Eagles) early on in games which forces other teams to start passing.

I am actually a little hopeful this year. I am seeing small improvements in every game, although there are a lot of weak spots still. I don't think this is a team that will fall off at the end of the year.

I think they are looking pretty good and have a promising future, but I think they gotta do better than 2-3 before someone starts fitting them for the glass slipper. I can't say I am "surprised" they are 2-3.

They are doing about as well as I thought they would do. I thought they had a chance at a Cinderalla season, but realistically they should go 6-8 or 8-8. Not much better than that.

They definitely have a great nucleus. And man, Sharper can HIT.
