He missed the big east quarters today with back spasms, is said to be day to day and might not play in Uconn's semi-final tomorrow. Should they save him for the NCAA tourney or risk it and play him the rest of the way in the big east tourament? I worry about the rest of his career with the way he keeps getting back spasms.

On a side note, Ben Gordon came up huge for Connecticut tonight tallying 29 points in 66-58 win over Notre Dame.

ben gordon can do that every night he just won't shoot the ball that much and everyone in the freaking world wants him too. i know i do. i love watching him in action more than anybody.

no. we don't need emeka to win the big east championship. no, we don't even *need* him for the tournament. suuuuuuuuuuure. he's the #1 overall player in the nation, imo.. but uconn is just too good of a team. the depth is there. nobody else has any player to match up to him to begin with. with okafor, it just makes life and everything basketball related a million times easier.

    need, no. want, YES.

UConn is a great team. Everyone continues to trash them for not living up to their preseason hype, but there's no reason why they still can't win the NCAA championship. UConn is not traditionally a team that blows everyone out, they are a team that gets it done.
