Remember people Iverson was injured this season, and is rumored that he will not start the upcoming season due to his injury. Many TV analysts as well as journalists have said that this could be his last season, if his injury does not progress.

you guys need to trade ai and go after kobe he will be around for the next 12 years. ai is past his prime. sorry philly friends. you all need to get over kobe and how much you hate him. if he played for philly it would show everyone that he is the best player in the nba. you dont like kobe because you think he is a thug and an a-hole. people have you looked at ai lately?????

Ricky Davis wasn't even remotely a "team cancer" for Boston this season, so what's your point again?

AI's well known for his scoring ability, but there is a lot more to his game than just his speed and scoring. He's always had the role of being the guy to take 30+ shots a game and having to score the points for his team. As he gets older, his role will eventually change, and he will make the necessary adjustments. AI has great court vision and passing ability. I see him eventually evolving his game into more of a passer than shooter. Because of his competitive nature he's going to do what it takes to help win ball games and the injuries aren't going to keep him off the court. They will just force him to change his style of play.

Maybe he wasn't referring to Ricky Davis in Boston?

Yea I think he was talking about Ricky in Cleveland.

I'm not sure is AI can adjust his game though, do you think he's willing to become a passer that just scores 15 points a game, takes about 16 shots only a game, and is second option to someone else?

I think he would be willing to become a passer. He's shown his ability in the All Star game in setting up shots for other players. I just think Iverson has never had the confidence in another teammate to consider passing it off instead of shooting it. Eventually the 76ers will get a guy who can consistently score, and Iverson will be more willing to share the ball. He's turning 29 this year, so he's still going to want to be the top guy for at least 3 or 4 more seasons.

    Iverson has 7 years

I Think Iverson will play for seven years or more. If Iverson only has five years that means Jason Kidd Who is 32 and shaq will retire in 3 years. Iverson has a long time in the nba still.
