I don't know what the love affiar with Archibald is on this team, but its gotta stop. Bradley has potential, he's a better rebounder, scorer, blocker, more atheletic, quicker, blah blah, but he's not a hack or I mean good defender.

Anyways, no Vin Baker for us, but at least we're racking up backup old men. Blount is fine though no complains about getting him, just about who we're releasing.

Kinda Related so I'm not going to make a new topic

    Micheal Bradley Dumped

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Bradley, who was taken 17th overall in the 2001 draft, never got any consistent minutes and never got an opportunity to show his skills in the frontcourt. </div>

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">At 6-foot-10 and capable of handling the ball, knocking down mid-range jump shots, rebounding and defending, the Raptors hailed Bradley at the time of his selection as a can't-miss prospect. </div>

I know this isn't good for the Raptors but I hope he goes to a conference rival and beceomes a good player, stupid GG and KO keeping Archibald. I mean it dissapoints me when I read Archibald, Baxter and Bradley's scoutng reports and Archibald is called the next Evan Eschmeyer and Bradley and Baxter are said to be good players with skills.

Michael Bradley has done absolutely nothing for the Raptors since he got here. He was not able to get a consistent playing time to show what he can do out there and that was his ultimate demise.

I think he's an above average rebounder but he just wasn't developed enough/injured too much to show his stuff in Toronto. I would not be surprised to see him leave and do well for another team.

^ I agree with CourtVision. Releasing Bradley instead of Archibald is the right way to go. Since both players contracts expire at the end of the season, I doubt we'd be seeing either one of them in a Raptors uniform in 2004-2005. Bradley's on the injured list for the rest of the season so we really have no other choice.

Too bad we couldn't get Baker though. But I guess there wasn't much point going after him when we have to compete with the almighty knicks.

NBA Record : 22 different players wore the Raptors jersey and played in it this season ! ..

    Vince Carter
    Jalen Rose
    Antonio Davis
    Chris Bosh
    Chris Jeffries
    Jerome Williams
    Donyell Marshall
    Lonny Baxter
    Jannero Pargo
    Dion Glover
    Morris Peterson
    Lamond Murray
    Alvin Williams
    Milt Palacio
    Roger Mason Jr.
    Rick Brunson
    Jerome Moiso
    Michael Bradley
    Robert Archibald
    Megnkee Bateer
    Michael Curry
    Corie Blount

Corie would help big time, I guess Lamond is going to the IL, Bradley wasn't expected to do that well this season

Not ALL our records are bad though. We do have the record for holding an opponent to the least amount of points in the fourth quarter. It still doesn't make up for the other ones though.

nice one, i like this signing...blount can stretch out d's with his mid range jump shot, and he plays tough physical d, and is decent on the glass...i like this signing. i wanted the raps to pick him up soon as i heard he got released by chicago

bradley was nothing...garbage...he had a few good games last season. and by good games, i mean something like 10 points and 8 rebounds and vice versa. arch plays solid post d, and whoever he is guarding, you can bet wont be getting a rebound.

man Bradley was averaging 6.1 boards in 15mins per game. In his 5 games this season he was averaging 2.2 rpg in 7.6 mpg.

Archibald is averaging 1.7 in 8.6 mpg. I don't see good D from him I just see him annoyinh other players and hacking them. We need him to go out and just be a goon and get hard fouls and some good hacks.
