Curry was more of a vocal speaker than an athlete anyways, so I feel this is a better role for him. Maybe he should be a coach.
^agree. Curry hasn't been performing very well in his role as a player recently so yeah he might be able to help us this way...
10 years in the nba, president of the nba's players association, AND has a master's degree in sports management? If GG's gone at season's end, then I'm okay with Curry taking his spot.
I don't know, I'd rather have him be an assistant first because I don't want us to be an experiment for a Rookie GM.
og15, you don't want an experiment for a rookie GM. What about KO being our rookie coach? All I want is Curry to be something other than a player.
lol well its for sure he's retiring (I hope), so if he's not gonna get an assistant job for us he can go somewhere else, we don't need him.
Yah I guess assistant GM will be more reasonable, but if he does get the GM position (which I highly doubt), I wouldn't complain. Either way I still would want him to be a part of the Raptors organization.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting hollagr8:</div><div class="quote_post">Yes, Curry will always be there to help us lose </div> Don't get smart. Not too many people have a resume like Curry's so it wouldn't hurt to have him in a front office position.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting og15:</div><div class="quote_post">Curry wants IN</div> I think the raptors are at the crossroads for this franchise. If they are gonna hire a new GM, they can't take a chance. Look at what West did in Memphis, the grizz were a laughable franchise, but now are a playoff team in the powerful west. They need a bluechip GM.
