Hey guys, I just got back from Minneapolis after attending the game last night against the T-wolves. BEFORE THE GAME: *Got into the Target Center early, wearing my Magic Johnson uni and went down near the court.. Got some close up pics of Maddog and then the Laker scrubs started to come out. *I got Mychal Thompson's autograph and also Frank Hamblen's autograph! I was an inch away from getting Kareem Rush's autograph but he had to leave. But 2 out of 3 ain't bad... *I got some really close up pics of players like Fox, Fish, Cook, Rush, etc. OBSERVATIONS DURING THE GAME: *Alot of Laker fans at the game, probably because the Lakers originated in Minneapolis. Speaking of that, there is a George Mikan statue as you enter the Target Center--that was really neat. *As the starters were being introduced, there were alot of boos for Kobe. However, some people clapped for him and were wearing his jerseys. BTW- it was the largest crowd in Target Center history! *Malone started off missing his first shot, but really quieted the crowd by hitting most of his jumpers. -Slava got called for some ticky fouls, and alot of them were questionable. -Kobe shot terribly, but as you know picked it up a lil in the 2nd half, but it was too little too late. -Shaq shot well from the free-throw line but faltered when we really needed them.. -Payton got called for a tech right before the half, but I don't get why Cassell didn't get a technical in the 2nd half when he argued on 3 consecutive calls... :-? Anyways, despite the loss, it was a fun time, and I am now 1-1 when I go to the Target Center to watch the Lakers vs. Wolves!!! And also, once I develop the film from the game, I will share the pics with all of you!

MDE, do you live in Minnesota? I was visiting relatives in Iowa (Lakers fans, FYI it's a small Midwest state ) and I went back to Minnesota for a day to go to the game.
