- Chris Webber posted a game high 23 points and grabbed 8 rebounds as the Sacramento Kings pumbled the San Antiono Spurs, 101-87. Peja Stojkovic chipped in with 18 and 5, as the once Western Confrence Finalist knocked off the defending champions. Rasho Nesterovic lead the way with for the Spurs 14 while Hedo Turkoglu chipped in with 13. The Spurs played with out all star Tim Duncan who has missed the past few games.
It was a nice game... teams were equal througout 3 quarters, but then the Kings got on a roll. Their defense was outstanding, and let to several fast break points. Bibby and Christie led the way with a couple of steals, and Brad Miller had a good overall game with 19 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Duncan wasn't there.. but he sure would have had problems with the tough defense of the Kings. Doug Christie was chasing around Tony Parker all night, and held him to 8 points on 4 on 11 shooting.
was it a good game? I was really lookign forward to seeing this game but then right after the Sixers game, I found out that ABC was broadcasting the Knicks vs. Bucks game in Chicago. I really was upset. The Knicks were losing by like 25+ pts when it was like really close for the Kings and Spurs. It was killing me! Well it looks like the Kings won, but i really wanted to see it. Why does ABC do this??... no wants to see a KNicks vs. Bucks game anyway.
^it was cuz the kings are on the westcoast...I believe....and yea, I'd want to see a knicks and bucks game every day of the week. Especially when TJ ford gets back.
