I've been posting on ESPN for years now(since '97 I think). It is just unreadable anymore. Ever since the LeBron talk heated up last year. Every troll on the face of the planet made it their duty to totally ruin that message board. This year has been the worst since I've been on there. I was scaning through the rubble, and found that a whole conversation a few of us had yesterday during the Cavs game was erased. All we were talking about was where we could listen to the Cavs game on the net. It's unbelievable. Yet over 2 pages of this Marcopolo dude posting Mistake by the lake remains. Who the hell is running that message board anyway? I'm so glad I signed up here with JustBBall. Thanks to Karma for his fantastic recruiting job.
As much as I hate those trolls, I am glad to a point that they ruined that board, because it had no direction anyway, was just a board. I too was a poster years ago, was an Insider and all, but the trolls have always been there, this is just their peak year due to their jealousy of one LeBron James. I am happy to have you guys here, I bust my ass to make sure that you guys are happy here, have topic to debate about, game threads, and the place is always clean and neat. Together we have made the best Cavs board on the internet. How about this too, in our game thread yesterday, we got about what, 110 posts? That is pretty normal for us. Well we beat out RealGM, BasketballBoards, and Insiders...COMBINED! And they have like what, 35 thousand users compared to out just over 3 grand here? We rule! This is why no matter if I am busy, have shit to do, I make sure I handle things here first, just to keep you guys happy. KJ
I am hearing you ^^^^^. It's as if trolls are on rosters there to stuff the board up on different days. It's a shame, as I did (past tense) enjoy posting there. Whether it being defending Z (against my mate DawgDay) or bagging out on Paxson. The odd trolll is a little bit of fun, but it just took over the whole feel of the board. Nothing worse after a big informative post, 30 troll messages in two minutes, wipes it all away. Anyway, like yes!andthefoul says, it's great to be over here. yeah i feel you all... I started posting there and regreted it... All it is, is non-stop spam!! It gets out of hand and I'm tired of it that's why I'm here and I was only on ESPN for like a month.. and I love it here.. Thanks for a great experience... We got to get that one guy from ESPN, that BrownsCavsOsubuckey fan or whatever his name is, lol.. he needs to come, or he might be I don't know..
It's funny though. The Browns board at ESPN doesn't get all the trolls that the Cavs board does. Hmmmmmm.
It's all about James bro, people want to ruin it because the Cavs have been a joke franchise and people can't stand to see us get attention.
I was posting at the Cavs actually websites MB and that became trash quickly. If it weren't for Juiceman, I wouldn't go there still. I am so glad that one day King James came and took me away from that mess and brought me to JustBBall the #1 board on the net!
I have never posted at ESPN but im sure its JTerry and his boys spammin up the boards. Also alot of Denver fans seem to have fun trashing Cav boards. But will you ever see a Cav fan trash a Nuggets board? Never.
I think it is time to stop the comments on the boards fellas. I see some just out of nowhere in threads bustin out with something like... "oh man, I just saw the ESPN board..." I know you guys may be heartbroken still, but we have a great place here, no need to say something like that out of nowhere that brings nothing to the conversation. Just leave that place to the trolls, enjoy your new home, let's continue to hold our position as the best Cavs board on the net. You guys want to vent about it, do it in this thread.
