Oh yeah toying with them.. nah we're just playing some ugly ball. If we keep playing like this we definitely don't deserve this one..

Hey after seeing the Magic coach Johnny Davis a few times.. I've noticed he kinda looks like Isaiah Thomas.. anyone else see the similarities??

I thought T-Mac was supposed to be the 1 man team... so far this game Kobe has been the one man team and the other aren't doing anything at all... 7 points to go thanks to Shaq not being able to hit free throws.. nothing new I guess??? this is the most frustrating game this season... by far...

ohhh, the game hasn't finished yet! still 2:21 left in the fourth andBryant scored like 10 consecutive Laker points and the Lakers, from trailing 10 pts 2 minutes earlier, are now down only by two... I'm sure Lakers will take this one, especially Magic's awful defense and if they bulk down, the Lakers will take this easy! [IMG] [IMG]

EDIT: WOWWW, Bryant tied it up with 41 seconds left... cmon :Lakers go go go!

Tied at 102. This is ridiculous, the Lakers have played to the level of the competition all season long, looks like OT will decide the winner.

LAL: team timeout with 4 seconds left, guess Slava will take the last shot... I'm kiddingt of course it's gotta be Kobe, the most amazing crunch time player right now in the L!! Well, will he really take it? We'll see!

EDIT: Yeah Kobe took the last shot but he missed... we go to OT!

EDIT: OT! Bryant hit a layup for his 38th point, TMac-Howard duo is the only magic right now for Orlando, Shaq dunked, Fisher, Malone hit a jumpshot, Stevenson got a pair of free throws and a reserve for the tie, but then Payton buried a three for a 113-110 lead, this is very draining for Orlando, their chance percentage of winning this game is declining and declining and declining, go Lakers!

I know. It would be nice to actually see us blow out teams that we are suppose to blow out. It doesnt seem to matter if we are playing sacramento or chicago, every game seems to go down to the wire.
Im gonna get a heart attack one of these days watching every game come down to the final shot

From the 4th this game turned great.. wow how can such a bad game turn into such a great one.. how is KOBE I GUESS?!?! Man Kobe put on a show, put up as many points as Tracy in the 2nd half alone!!! He also actually guarded T-Mac in the 2nd half and did a great job on him. I dont remember T-Mac playing D on Kobe even once.. I guess now we can all agree Kobe is the better defender??? GOOD GAME!

Heart attack? hehe [IMG] but better get used to it. I guess the Lakers were not toying with the Magic at all in this game, they were still trying to gel since this is just the second game since Karl came back. But to actually trail by 10 with 4 minutes left and tie it and win it is special, I don't care if it's against the L's worst team, it's still a win and definitely a next step in the right direction.

ohhh booo hoo hoo, keep crying man!!

just face it, kobe shut down tmac in the 4th and OT, and tmac got scared to shoot the ball, he got blocked by kobe, STRIPPED SICK MY KOBE, and basically torn up on the offesive side by kobe, if your player hadnt CH-CH-CHOKED in the second half, it would be a different story

Like it was said in the Magic forum, Karl obviously got fouled by T-Mac on the other side in the previous posession, so its even.

After the game, Kobe talked to John Ireland, and he indirectly dissed T-mac imo...He said something to the effect of "a lot of these players today, they try to outscore you, but i'm a throwback, I'll outscore u and shut u down" lol, is it me or was that a diss?

hes better, hes letting it be known, jordan would do the same thing, indirectly state that hes better, all the greats do it...its a rivalry, whats the good of calling it a rivalry if they cant talk smack once in a while?

You can't say that Kobe is better, it is impossible to compare the two due to the teams that they play on. Kobe has great players around him, T-Mac does not. I bet there are a lot of magic fans that would say T-Mac scored 102 points in two games, when is the last time Kobe accomplished that?

Maybe if Kobe leaves the Lakers to lead a team of his own we can start the debate.

well, Kobe did avg 40+ for a 10 game span...[IMG]

Like I said in the other thread, I've always thought T-mac was the better offensive player from quarters 1-thru-3...but Kobe is the far superior player in the 4th....
