What I don't understand is how Rip Hamilton isn't one of the seeds. He's been on the team about the same time as Billups, who's a #3 seed! I also don't see how Billups is a higher seed than Grant Hill, who I would have put as a 3 seed instead. Other than that, I think its common sense that Thomas and Dumars will be in the Finals against each other. The only possible upset I see is Stack over Laimbeer, and even that is a maybe.
If Billups gets it over Microwave then I'll know somethins up. The Bad Boys deserve alot of praise and while Chauncy is good his impact nowhere equals that of Vinnie on Piston's history.
I would have Rodman ahead of Wallace. I sure can argue for both sides don't get me wrong, but Rodman did a lot more for the Pistons. I agree that Johnson should be ahead if Billups too. Well, the fans voted for this, so no wonder why the Bad Boys got hosed.
The Best matchup in the 1st round is Dennis Rodman vs Ben Wallace its going to be extremely interesting to see people vote in that matchup.

He popular with the teenage group, those are the people that vote for this type of On-line stuff. most of the type people voting dont remember the Bad Boys. Or they were extremely young during the Bad Boy era in the late 80's, so they never knew about them.
Stackhouse ahead of Hamilton is a little strange, although they main reason for that would be because Stack was a Piston for quite a long time and Hamilton hasn't. As for the Rodman/Wallace voting Thats a tough one, you can basically go on what these guys did in their time with Detroit not just for their career's. Dennis played 7 good seasons with the Pistons and in his last two years averaged over 18 rebounds a game, thats almost unheard of by any player. Only Wilt is a player that comes to mind. Unfair to Ben having the worm in the first round but thats the way it goes.
painfully, i would pick Dennis Rodman over Ben as well. at the end of Ben's career it may be a different story, but Rodman's role in the Piston's back-to-back championship has to be taken into consideration. their indivdual accolades (DPOY's, rebounding titles, etc) are similar, but Rodman's got the edge because of his championships.
Rodman does have a lot of individual accolades, and I think that he should be ahead of Wallace. But Wallace will definitely win the matchup because of all his fans and his more positive image.

Dennis could also get in any guy's head no matter how good or how focused they normally are, he found a way to get them frustrated. One of his many underrated skills.
