<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">Allen Iverson's reign of error is coming to a close in Philadelphia.

Come summer, look for the 76ers to deal him to a team that can afford him and is willing to tolerate the baggage that now outweighs his points.

The Sixers and Iverson know it's time to say goodbye, to give up on the pretense that they're all one big happy family. Iverson found a home in Philadelphia, built a mansion and had an adoring fan base. But all the reasons for staying are giving way to greater reasons for leaving. </div>

It would be poetic justice if Iverson got shipped to a black hole like Clipperland or Atlanta. Guys who think that they are bigger than the game need to get their just desserts.

Now this is surprising, I always pictured him and McGrady in the same situation. In it, till the end, no matter what. It's understandable though, but then you wouldn't really have anyone to build upon except someone like Dalembert or your next rookie project. AI is the heart and soul, but he ought to take it more seriously, he may be the best the team has, but he's definitely not what he use to be, missing practices is just wrong. Still better to have him then to be left with the likes of simply Snow and of course who could forget *sigh* the awesome Derrick Coleman.

If AI is traded then we may see names like Brand,Magette,Francis or Allen in Philly,we would lose a lot of fans and heart but we may have a better chance at the title,

Talent does not automatically equal championships. Iverson is someone who will never understand that, at least not before the age of 40.

You lose fans, cause Iverson is a fan guy like Miles, T-Mac, Kobe and these guys, and talented, almost everybody likes he's game, and it would be a hard lose for Philadelphia 76ers.

For finacial causes and for the fans sake. If I were Billy King I wouldnt trade Iverson unless if I got some like McGrady or Kobe. That would be the only way. If Iverson were to get traded, the atmosphere around the Wachovia Center wouldnt be the same, there would be ALOT of empty seats etc.. But if only they get some like Kobe or T-Mac they would be good. Even a player like Jason Kidd wouldnt satisfy the people of Philadelphia, well thats what I think at least.

I think the Sixers organazation would go downhill,it basicly is right now but if they trade AI its not gonna help them as a franchise. The only players I think thhe fans would accept would be:VC,T-Mac,or Kobe, anything else is lesser.

I would like Kobe in Philly, people at realgm are talking about Kobe in Philly,AI to Bobcats for the #4 pick(this doesn't surprise me,everytime Sixers have traded their franchise player they have sucked for 10-12 years) and other crazy things,AI's stock isn't as high as I thought,Memphis may offer Posey and Swift for AI [IMG]

^Um YOU might like Kobe in Philly but most Philly fans wont. Dont you remember what happened at the 2002 All-Star game?
Iverson is gone after the season it would be a step in the right direction for the Sixers.

It was in 2002. The year right before Kobe and Shaq beat AI and the Sixers in the 2001 NBA Finals. BTW that was way back in 2002, when EVERYONE HATED KOBE except for the LA fans of course. Even I hated him. But now a days....Almost everyone likes Kobe. Even me :P. But if he came to Philly I think the fans would accept him.
