he injured his shoulder, I think, before the season started and right away they said he was gone for the whole year.

Not much point me adding to this. He had a history of shoulder problems in College, and then injured both shoulders in training camp, and has only recently had extensive surgery on both to prevent any chance of re-injuring the shoulders, a big danger when it comes to this sort of injury. We should hopefully see him for the start of next season , Summer League will be interesting.

Veterans on Olympic teams were very impressed by Collison's approach and respect to the game and veterans they actually favored him to win the Rookie of the Year award. This was of course before the season began and before LeBron and Carmelo exploded and won their respective conference Rookie of the Month awards each and every month of the season.

I never really took those Iverson claims seriously, as to me it was obvious James and Anthony would and should be required to come in and play a much bigger role, which they both have. However, as the season it has become really clear that Collison would have been extremely handy, and it's nice to know his work ethic and attitude must be of a high order to get that sort of praise from international teammates.

Allen Iverson said he thought that Nick Collison was going to be rookie of the year. He said he wouldn't be agenst it.
