It's the Warriors jinx... haha naw I dunno just various thigs. We could have made it this year but all the injuries killed us. I guarantee playoffs next year for us unless the bonehead management blows up our team.

Why didn't we make the playoffs this year? Injuries. This team is not good enough to make the playoffs when it is not at full strength. We need all of our weapons and we have the depth to win a lot of games.

Why haven't we been to the playoffs in 10 years? Crappy front office.

It's all about the team chemistry, what style of team you want to build and the core group of players you're trying to build around. The warriors are a serious patchwork quilt with Jrich, Pietrus, Murphy, and Dunleavy (All whom neither play one end of the court as well the other). They've got no characteristics or style really. It's like anything goes, but they've got great team chemistry despite the injuries and overhaul of the roster from last year. What can I say its the front office.

BTW our former GM Dave Twardzik is on the Magic front office as Director of Scouting. I SAID SCOUTING! They are doomed next year. Doomed I tell you! Joe Smiths and Todd Fullers for the next few years! Ivan Chiriaev will be chillin' in Orlando at #1.

Please not A.I. That guy has such a crap attitude. That's why he's "I"verson. It's all about himself. Plus he's way overpaid for a guy that relies on speed to get the job done and he'll get injured even more as he gets older.

Do you think Nelson will go to the warriors?

Jameer Nelson? I don't think we need a point guard at this point... we have Speedy holding it down and getting another point would just create a logjam at that position (neither player would truly be able to flourish and improve, after all, they're both young players and need their minutes). I'd rather the Warriors go for a big man... pray that someone like Okafor falls to the Warriors, and I'll be happy.

Jrich for Jameer Nelson or Ben Gordon might be so risky especially for the other team since he has only one year left on his contract. But imagine if we get Okafor somehow and then trade for Jameer or Gordon. It would be a really young lineup but very interesting if you consider we might get two of Uconn's best players or the best college pointguard in this year's draft. (BTW Felton ain't entering the draft and he's arguably just as good or will be better in a year's worth of time)

C: Okafor (your banger, but undersized rebounder/shotblocker/low post defender. He got long arms though)
PF: Murphy (your rebounder and midrange shooter)
    SF: Dunleavy (your setup man)
    SG: Pietrus (your lockdown defender)
PG: Claxton/Nelson or Gordon (you'll need a good backup with claxton's history of injuries each season)

The rest would be solid veterans since we don't want to suffer what the Cavs went through with mostly all rookies.

I don't think the Warriors need Jameer Nelson, especially not for JRich. I think that Speedy Claxton with Nick Van Exel will be good enough for the Warriors.

Second i wouldn't guarantee playoffs for next year at this point. Nobody knows what's going to happen with the center position, and if Dampier and Foyle go, the Warriors could be in a big hole.

And the reason why the Warriors didn't make the playoffs this year is because there were so many new players that came to the Warriors(Speedy, Nick Van Exel, Calbert, Cardinal, Cliff, Eschmeyer, Popeye Jones, Pietrus, Lampley, and so on). And the road record and injuries didn't help neither.

For the Warriors to make the playoffs next year, keeping Dampier around, along with winning more close games and winning on the road will be big factors.

I agree that we need a point guard, since I don't think Claxton is durable enough to play a whole season, if he could then I think the Warriors other need is a post player.

Actually, I'd say the main reason they didn't make it it just because of injuries. They actually did a great job gelling together despite having an extremely different lineup from teh previous year.

You've got to love our vet squad and what they accomplished this year for the young players. The attitude of the rookies and sophmores has changed a lot since they have a mentor on and off the court. That plus the great coaching staff and trainers. They've always been solid in helping make players a lot better than people expected.
