^ hahaha yeah rudeezy, you couldn't be more right. Especially since I remember him calling Robert Horry the "best defender in his era" [IMG]. You know what my man Tom Tolbert said to reply? "He isn't even the best defender on the floor!". Now that's a guy who tells it like it is... the only reason I watched half of last year's games with Bill Walton is so that I could hear Tolbert arguing with Walton's stupid ass haha that was classic.

He says a lot of things to be funny. I crack up at his comments all the time. I love his comment about Brian Cardinal after a great game on ESPN, "Why wasn't Cardinal in the All-Star game?!" [IMG]

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting kobeonfire:</div><div class="quote_post">Naw I like Barnett though. He knows what he's talking about, and even though he always says good things about people, I'm glad he doesn't go over the top like some other POS announcer I know, Bill Walton.</div>

I like Barnett for those reasons you are talking about. He's very knowledgable and loves to prove it by answering those quiz questions that come up every game during a telecast.

I agree about Bill Walton being over the top, but I like Bill Walton. You should hear Bill Walton broadcast at length about Yao when something else is going on in the game with the Rockets and some other team, I can understand how Walton can rub people the wrong way when they're trying to listen and watch the game at the same time. (Sometimes I watch some games with the volume off if the commentator is just too opinionated/is a homer/doesn't give any real information to game i.e. ESPN)

By the way Barnett was commenting on how good Langhi's jump shooting was.

Tom Tolbert rules. He's a warrior for life.

I don't really listen to radio talk shows unless I'm bored of my cd's while I'm driving. Isn't Ralph the guy that sounds like Joe Pesci? If he is I've heard that show. I listen to Rick Barry more than the other shows.

I listen to to the Jim Rome show the most, mostly because he cracks me up. I'll listen to either Rick Barry or Rod Brooks after that.
