I am so mad watching tonight's game. What is going on in these players' heads? Were it altitude? Their body languages showed that they did not care. Look at the turnovers.
Officials were really bad, but Houston backcourt gave the game away! Yao wanted to carry the team in the 4th quarter, but Cat and Francis kept dribbling the ball. They must had forgoten Yao.

I don't mind losing to the Laker, but to Denver???

If I were Yao, I would want to be out of this team. It is bunch of selfish players with only me altitude.

Denver is not in the same level as Rocket, though not necessarily suck.

IF Rocket plays team ball and lose, I can accept it. But losing in a street ball, that's rediculous. It is not moving SF to shoting guard that will solve the problem. The dude can't shoot this season. It is the mentality of SF and Cat that really hurts the team.

BTW, Denver really got helped out by the refs. The 2 fouls Yao picked up in 1sth quarter looked really fishy! These refs must be on drugs. That's only way I can understand how they blow the whisles.

What makes you say this? they are in exactly the same boat imo. They are both two fairly young teams without playoff experience. They both are now just trying to learn how to win in the those difficult close games in March & April that get you over the hump & into the playoffs.

The Rockets have players with playoff experience Charles Oakley, Mark Jackson, Jim Jackson, Mobley made the playoffs like one year.

But for the most part your core players Francis & Ming have never smelled this kind of action down the stretch before.

And the same thing goes for the Nuggets

Guys like Jon Barry, Lenard, Camby have gone thru these type of situations on the NBA level.

But Anthony, Miller, Boykins,Nene havent. Right now down the stretch run I say that both teams are about equal in their task of making the playoffs.

The only thing that seperates the 2 teams is the Rockets coaching staff has alot more playoff experience than Denvers' coaches.

They may face the same task, but talent wise to say them in the same level, that's an insult.

Denver needs a big man other than Camby, who actually surprised me with his progress since leaving NY. Who do you have other than the rookie? Who do you build around for an elite team?

Rocket has two great guards in SF and Cat, but only if they use their heads hteir talents means nothing. And don't tell me that they don't know the right way to play ball, look at how they made their little run in March. It's their little minded vision. I am surprised 4 year colleges did not do Cat any good.

BTW, this is the Rocket forum, let's focus on Rocket.

Yes this is the Rockets Forum, but if you think the Rockets are that much more talented the the Nuggets then you are totally mistaken imo.

Hilario is a 3 i guess...Hilario is up there with Shaq imo....maybe not weight wise but talent wise yes....to say the Nuggets have no big man is saying Yao Ming isn't chinese becuz they have one...and Camby isn't it....

I don't know who you are refering. Nene? He couldn't guard Yao one on one. I don't see him playing good defense. I thought Camby is a very good weakside defender. The knock on him is he only plays half a season.

    Yao> Camby
    Cato< Hilario
    Anthony> J. Jackson
    V. Lenard< C. Mobley
    A. Miller< S. Francis

And we have a better bench- Weatherspoon, Pike, Jax, Mo. Taylor...so yes we do have more talent...our main big weakness has been US this season...we tend to underachieve and rely on mere talent opposed to smarts and team basketball...
