    pretty good idea for Raps!

Hey all this is my first post here. I was just wondering should the Raptors trade Alvin to places like utah atlanta or philly? for players like G.Giricek,B.Sura, or E.Snow? I think the Snow one is a good deal. He would be at the point. no doubt. He'd add stability in terms of turnovers. jalen could play guard and vince at the 3 spot. donyell and bosh hmmmm... Bosh is a PF in my mind. he is a bit too,, how might one say.. weak. No doubt he is a good player but one of these days he will break down! And Donyell i'm happy with the most consistent player for the raps this miserable year. But they should trade him for a big dude. I dont knwo who but they should! And the raptors in my mind feel that they need players to make a good team. What they lack is a system! they need to oriented in some manner. Like Detroit -Defense, Dallas Offense, LA-Give the ball to shaq and kobe, lol. And things like that. They have to get some type of veteran player who has had experience who can help them out.!

    Well that's my $00.02

Thx for hearin me out. Comments are welcomed

The problem is tha Alvin is virtually untradeble, no one wants him, especially for the guys you mentioned who right now will likely be more valuvble than him. Except Bob Sura, he's a Free agent, no need to trade for him.

Bosh is 19, 20 now and a rookie so don't worry yourself, he will bulk up but he doesn't need to bulk up too much but just get stronger and he'll be a beast.
We need a center, and if we get one from the market Donyell will ahve to take a backset to Bosh at the 4 spot. If we can trade Donyell for two good rotation players, preferably on young guy and one veteran that would be really good.

We'll have to see who our coach, even first who our GM is, and what system we implement. One thing is that the coach needs to look at the team and try and figure out what would work best with the team he has, not try and instill a system that doesn't fit the players on the team.

^agree. The decision will rely on the GM. Right now Bosh is at about 210 lbs. And I expect (really want him too) him to be at about 225/230 pounds next season of course. Sophomore year is where realy basketball players shine as they try to improve on the weaknesses and make hem they're strength. Does anyone know if Roger Mason is still with the team or if his contract is up?

^two years? well then i guess the Raps have no need to worry because i feel Roger Mason can be a good role player in this league, and has showed some glimpses of it this year.

no roger mason is a free agent. the only players raptors have under contract are donyell, jalen, vince, alvin, cb4, lamond, j. moiso and mo. pete (restricted free agent). i think those 7 guys account for 46 million in payroll.

Nash, McGrady, Carter. Raptors 04-05.....Oh it's possible.

Trade the rest of the roster because they won't need them to win a championship. [IMG]

We need to get rid of Lamond Murray, all he is doing is eating up Torontos money, while he is sitting on the bench, what a total waste of time and money he has been, i really thought he was going to help the Raptors, but he just didnt end up in the right role i guess. The Raptors need to get into the European market, they need to send their scouts to scour Europe, as an example, Serbia.

Well they've tried, remember the great Ramon Van De Hare? [IMG]

This organization is in a place where they need little adjustments and players who can make an imediate impact, most european players coming over usually take many years to develop, with the state of this team it would be smarter for an impact player because they've got a solid core of players, they just need to add on to that for the playoffs.

I know what youre talking about, and i know the Raptors need an immediate impact, but it is only going to help us in the future if we try to build our European players, becuase thats where all the talent is coming from basically, I might go off a lim here, and i might get yelled at by some Raptor fans as well, but i think we need to trade Carter while he is good, for a reasonably good player coming from the other side [IMG] ...

dont give up on carter yet. give him another year to get really good and then trade him lol. right now i still dont think his trade value would be very high so give him another year and hope he doesnt get injured....
