<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> The struggling Sacramento Kings try to avoid their first three-game losing streak of the season on Sunday when they visit the Toyota Center to face the Houston Rockets. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Houston has lost three straight and completed a winless two-game road trip with a 110-100 road loss to the Denver Nuggets on Friday. Yao Ming had 23 points and 10 rebounds and Cuttino Mobley scored 17 points for the Rockets, who are 5 1/2 games behind sixth-lace Dallas in the West and three ahead of eighth-place Denver. </div> Link Whose losing streak will be broken first? This one will be an exciting one to watch as offense meets defence. I take the Rockets by 4, 102-98.
Yeah the Rockets' defense looks to be tired late in the season...Plus the amount of turnovers is frustrating...its amazing how they seem to get 20+ TOs each game...its costing them huge wins...its even more frustrating that most of the turnovers come from the backcourt, Francis and Mobley, who have played together for five years now...Ming also has a hard time holding onto the balland tends to hold the ball low instead of high...the Rockets need to work on a lotta things or else their playoff run will be short and sweet...
Yeah, it's kind of late now in the season to improve drastically in those departments, so we have to work on it in the summer and training camp. Give up on this season.....
It's particularly frustrating how Francis, at the end of these embarassing losses where he commits 5 or 6 turnovers, won't admit that he had a bad game. The Kings stole the ball 15 times, and Francis says the Rockets played a good game? That's a losing attitude. I don't remember Rockets teams from the mid-90s saying they had a "good game" when they lost like this. And the Rockets can't use the excuse that they're a "young team." They aren't young. Francis, Mobley, and Jackson (the predominant ballhandlers on the club) are veterans.

They really miss Cato right now. I think they'll be okay once he gets back. Yao just isn't strong enough to hold down the paint.
Steve Francis is not a predominent ballhandler he is a predominent passer. He has one the the best ball handling skillz crosses in the league. He turnovers are passes. You all have to forget the that is the overall best player on the team and used to be a my team my game player. 20,6,6 and now he is told that the physically weakest Center in the game besides Bradley is the #1 option, a player who he probably dunks on in practice its like oh...................He has to learn a whole new offense which is weird cause alot of games the guy who shot the most last year shoots the least out of the starting linup. When he starts a new year playoffs with his offensive (sorry to me) strategy by JVG He will be a 19,7,7 man like march. If Rudy to was the coach it would be diffrent. 2002 record (43-39) 2004 (42-34) do you see a big change...............NO "1on1 he doesn't think he can be stopped, and I think he right" Rudy T on Franchise (NBA Ankle Breakers)

Everyone who knows the NBA can see that Steve Francis needs to cut down on his turnovers. Sure, you can make an argument about his minutes and his teammates, but look at other top guards like Baron Davis, Jason Kidd and Stephon Marbury, they play as many minutes and are still lower on turnovers than yours truly. His shooting is just not there, so don't think he gets his points by shooting 10-15. When he's hot, get it to him, but when he's not, limit his shots. If he had shot and finished better yesterday, we wouldn't have lost IMO.
