Yay! We all knew he would want to stay though. Nothing wrong with Detroit, everybody is friendly and our team can win. However, we still need to have enough money left over to (hopefully) resign Memo. I still don't want him to leave and so far it doesn't look like Darko is going to be a 20-10 player next year, but maybe in 2 years, if we're lucky.
I'm glad Rasheed has found a good home here in Detroit. It's pretty cool that not only is he good for the Pistons, but being here is good for him and his image. I read a quote by him a while ago saying how much it meant to him to get a standing ovation in his first game at the Palace after being booed so often in Portland. It could be a dynasty if Darko develops and Sheed stays.
I always knew he'd be good even for Detroit. I remember reading a post here a while back about Rasheed coming to Detroit, and ppl were like "I hope its worth it and cancer for the team" as if they didnt want him. Obviously he would do well, and i'm sure everyone is happy he's there. Winning cures all dissatisfaction. Even though I grip'd all the doubters I'm still happy they beat Indiana cuz I hate Rick Carlisle.. he's a jerk coach and deserves what he got.. so biased too.
