Ok if the turnover Rockets make the playoffs, drop your predictions on how far they will go in the playoffs? In my opinion the first 4 seeds of the midwest are able to rape us equally easily because our loss of form and difficulty of keeping the balls in our hands. If we stole the ball 20 times a game rather than losing it 20times a game maybe we might have had a chance to go through kg and that UFO cassell. What daya think? Drop a prediction b4 the playoffs start so you won't be able to cheat..... i'm watching you [IMG]

i still think we have a great shot at advancing to the 2nd round if we get LA or Minny...we matchup very well with both...and im convinced that M. Jax/Oakley and the other veterans will be very valuable...I think right now the team is tired of the regular season and we will see a more cautious and careful team in the playoffs...I'm expecting Francis and Yao to be huge in the playoffs...

If we get Minny, it won't be as hard to beat. The only problem is if we don't. The Lakers can beat us the way they're playing now, San Antonio's style is very hard for us to counter, and Sacramento will kill us with offense. It looks like we'll get Minny, but I don't see us advancing past them, but at least we will put up a fight. I'd say we go out in 6, not before scaring the TWolves shitless.

Depending on who we get paired up with will ultimately decide how far we go in the playoffs. I am really hoping that we get the Timberwolves in the first round. If we get them I think we have an excellent chance of making it to the next round. From there it would be a miracle if we are able to knock off the next team we would face(Spurs, Lakers, Mavs, or Kings).

My goal is for us to make it past the first round this year.

The best possible scenario for us will be beating the Wolves in the first round and upsetting the Lakers in the second round. From there, I doubt beating Kings or Spurs in the finals.

i think the T-Wolves are our best chance too. I dont think T-Wolves have the good center match up with Yao, if KG is guarding Yao then Mo Talyor can esay get by kandi man. What im afraid is wally and Hudson, they are the best shooter in their team, i hope Hudson are still in IR well pray for Hudson to stay in IR longger to have a heathier body, Adrian Griffen our perimeter defender have to step up and guard those guys(and Spreewells too). As for the kings, i still remember why we are 4-0 instead of a better 2-2 or 1-3 is that the TURNOVERS kill them in the last quarter. Take care of the ball please

I agree. Keeping the turnovers in check is very vital in the playoffs as every team will be out for blood. If we play the TWolves, we have to play good set offense and transition defense. Hold them to below 95 points and I guess we'll be alright.

i see the rockets advancing to at least the second round they have a great team centered around two intellegent players and one under-rated one if they both play unselfish ball (francis and ming) they have as good a shot as anyone at the finals

OH NO,,, it looks like we're gonna face the spurs(0-4?){against us this season) or the kings (0-4).. HOUSTON: we have a problem [IMG] :thumbsdow ..today's game: without the two hoggy shooting guards mobley and francis+cato, the rockets pull off a win with big games from mj, jj, YAO, mo, nachbar!! every1!!!! Wow everyone seems to finally GEL together without the two ballhogs. The more pressure to have TRADED SF and Mobley for A quality TEAM PLAYER!!!!! I said this from DAY 1, yao never got any service from the 2 guards!!! I never liked how Francis and Mobley dictated the game so much without playing as a 'team' (as in passing the ball around and setting up yao properly). All the successful teams in the NBA play as a team!

Right now your going to get either the Lakers or the Kings. The timberwolves &spurs are out of the question. The 2nd seed has to be the winner of the pacific which means like I said Kings or Lakers.

I know this is going to sound strange but the Rockets want the Lakers. Both the Kings & Lakers are on shakey ground right now. but LA is a better matchup for the Rockets.
The Kings have to much offense for your rockets to keep up with them in a 7 game series. But the Lakers on the other hand are not that deep. And need big games from the fab 4 to win. Their bench players like Luke Walton, Slava, Cook, Rush have little to no playoff experience.

Gary Payton has struggled alot on defense this season, which means Francis could have a big series against him. Cuttino Mobley every year, every matchup seems to always step his game up when he is going against Kobe And with the exception of the last Rockets/Lakers game, Yao has out played Shaq. And a huge part of Yao struggles the last time they played each other had to do with the fact that Kelvin Cato didnt play. So Ming had to guard shaq straight up alot, which took alot of energy & confidence away from Ming. With Cato there you can once again let him take the brunt of most of Shaq abuse. And use Yao as a weakside shot blocker. Giving him more energy &confidence on the offensive end.

Winning a series against kings/Lakers is going to be hard. But against the Lakers if a few matchups fall into place. And you limit your turnovers down the stretch of ball games, the Rockets could give LA a serious series.

Good point, Hency. It is true that some of those lakers bench players has no playoffs experience, but 75% of the players have gotten to the nba finals, while other other hand, Steve, Mobley and Yao does not have any playoffs experience. What i am most afriad of playing the lakers is that Shaq can gets you in to foul trouble while Kobe is turn the lights off all day long, i dont think the Rockets have a good solution on Kobe, i dont like Kobe but he is too good.
