I hate "Corporate America" named stadiums. It takes away from the historical value of a franchise. Well I hope the Warriors spend this new found wealth wisely by retaining their young players and providing more amenities to their loyal fans.
I'm not sure i like the name change, but anything to get this franchise going in the right direction.
I could care less if it was called the Tampax Arena or the Preparation H center, the ownership just needs to get out now to prevent all out boycott.
it'll always be called the arena no matter what corporate sponsorship is behind it, people just know it by that name (e.g. candlestick, shark tank, etc.)
